“My Throat Will Be the Heat…Will Beat The Nuggets”: OnlyFans Star Celina Powell’s Attempt To Use NBA Star Terry Rozier For Clout, “and Right Before A Game at That,” Backfires

Miami Heat star Terry Rozier has been trying to get his game on track for a 3-5 Miami Heat team that seems to be entering a rebuild phase. Rozier’s numbers are mid, averaging 14.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists on just 39 percent shooting. The veteran and his team need a boost early in the season to get back on track.

Ahead of the Heat’s matchup with the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 8, adult film star, Celina Powell, who’s known for her many romps with men of sports, music and entertainment, apparently tried to personally boost Miami’s sluggish start by attempting to inspire Rozier to victory by taking to social media to insinuate that she and Rozier had a sexual encounter prior to the game.

Celina Powell Claims She Gave Miami Heat Star Terry Rozier Some Oral Inspiration Prior To Nuggets Game

In a now-deleted post, the well-traveled Powell said: “Basketball games are more fun when you f****d the player before the game gooo #2,” the OnlyFans star said in a since-deleted tweet on Nov. 7.

“All I’m saying is my throat will be the Heat that will beat the Nuggets tomorrow night y’all lol,” she added.

Powell shamelessly tried to credit her oral abilities as the reason why Miami would beat Nikola Jokic’s team She also did what she has built a career on and that’s brag about her sexual exploits with various “high value” men. Nicknamed “Scary Terry,” for his terrorizing style of play on the court, Powell’s prediction became a nightmare as the Heat got blown out by double digits, 135-122.

Terry Rozier Exposed By Adult Film Star Celina Powell?

Following the loss, inevitably, fans clowned Powell and Rozier on social media. Terry became another victim of Powell’s clout-chase circus.

Antonio Brown, Celina Powell Union Is A Super Bowl Master Class In Hall of Fame Clout Chasing

“Terry Rozier wild for hitting Celina Powell in 2024. And right before a game at that,” one fan said on X.

“He got the talent s****d out of him?” another user asked jokingly.

Powell has been on the low lately as far as having a steady boyfriend.

Celina Powell Linked To Clay Gravesande

Back in May, Powell was linked with “Love Is Blind” contestant Clay Gravesande.

Powell shared a now-deleted video of them on Instagram where they were seen cuddling each other. However, Gravesande ended the dating rumors during his appearance on “New Rory & Mal” after he realized he was just another victim of Powell’s web.

He stated, “I was being used. She got me, she won. I went to Belize with another female actually, and then I came back, and I was gonna actually shoot some content with Celina. It was really kind of innocent, bro.”

In a May 15 Instagram post, Clayton’s mother Margarita didn’t think so and aired her son out about his first public relationship since leaving Amber “AD” Desiree at the altar in season 6 of the Netflix show. She began by addressing fans who’ve sent her inappropriate videos of her son’s new girlfriend (Powell):

“I didn’t know who CP was until everyone started sending me her YouTube information,” she wrote with a vomit emoji. “It’s very interesting that some men will lose everything thinking that the apple is good but it’s a forbidden choice (do better).”

The day prior, Celina and Clay debuted their relationship with a series of intimate videos posted to the model’s Instagram and TikTok accounts.

“I want my name dropped, meaning I want to be married,” she continued, gesturing to her ring finger as Clay shook his head no. “I’m not f—ing around with you.”

Then all of a sudden it was over.

As for Rozier, who has a net worth of about $56M, he’s not publicly claiming Powell, who has a long and well-publicized dating history.

Celina Powell Dating History: The Whistle Blower

Offset

Back in 2017, Powell claimed to be pregnant with rapper Offset’s child. She even posted a paternity test online which led to a nasty controversy because the announcement coincided with Cardi B’s pregnancy with Offset’s first child.

Powell was one of the first to blow up Cardi’s ex-husband leading to years of infidelity, allegedly, on both of their parts. The worst part about it was that Powell later admitted that it was a lie, but the damage was done.

Snoop Dogg

Powell was also linked to Snoop and accused the popular celebrity and Olympic torch bearer of cheating on his wife with her. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper denied the accusations but Powell went as far as releasing lengthy details of their relationship in her storytime video on YouTube.

Tekashi 6ix9ine

Prior to ambushing Snoop, Powell was attached to gangster-rapper turned Latin celebrity, Tekashi 6ix9ine. She later admitted to staging that relationship prior to his arrest in 2018. Then it was child star Aaron Carter.

DJ Akademiks, Bryce Hall, Drake

In 2020, Powell was reportedly involved hip-hop troublemaker DJ Akademiks after posting a picture of a car he allegedly copped for her. The following year, rumors swirled around her and TikTok star Bryce Hall and megastar Drake after alleged chats between them were leaked online. This led to a zesty and nasty social media battle them, with Drake providing her all of the attention she craved and denying any involvement.

Antonio Brown Saga

Powell has more recently been linked to former Pittsburgh wide receiver and Trump supporter Antonio Brown.

OnlyFans Model Claims Antonio Brown Is Her Baby’s Father, And Brown’s Reply Only Deepens Mystery

The couple had been rumored to have a situationship for several years, but Brown always shoots down any confirmation of the association, labeling her as crazy.

Back in 2022, Powell was spotted on social media wearing Antonio Brown’s Super Bowl ring that he won with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This led many internet personalities and fans to assume that the two had hooked up or were dating.

Powell, known for making scenes, even made a fake post claiming that she is having his baby and got a tattoo of the ex-NFL star on her face.

Brown again proceeded to clown her on social media as a crazy clout chaser.

Rozier probably isn’t losing any sleep over this, but the fact that she deleted the message implies that he wasn’t pleased with her post.

That’s the cost, however, of venturing into Powell’s web. She’s a devoted drama queen and proud groupie who admits to doing publicity stunts for clout. Just don’t be a victim of circumstance.

‘Lamar Odom Is A Sick Freak’: Fans Call Out Former NBA Star For Buying Sex Doll And Naming It After Ex-Wife Khloé Kardashian

Former NBA star Lamar Odom has had his share of trouble since retiring from the NBA. The former NBA Sixth Man of the Year has battled a drug and sexual addiction that nearly led to
the two-time champion losing his life back in 2015, when he was found unresponsive in a Nevada brothel.

Lamar Odom Says Owner Of Brothel Where He Was Found Unconscious Tried To Kill Him

Lamar Odom and Khloé Khardashian Marriage History

L-O, who had the honor of playing championship ball alongside Kobe Bryant, was once married to Khloé Kardashian. He’s seemingly never gotten over the fact that the former couple didn’t make it because of his cheating ways.

Odom and Kardashian married in 2009. The couple had their own reality show, “Khloé & Lamar.” The couple divorced in 2016, due in large part to Odom’s sobriety issues.

In the years since, Odom’s released a documentary, “Lamar Odom: Reborn,” detailing his experimentation with psychedelics to treat his depression and drug addiction. He’s been very open and honest about his addictions and the depths to which he sunk and what he hopes people will learn from it.

Since their divorce Odom also has had several failed relationships and constantly tried to win her back, and he’s even commented on this publicly.

During a 2022 appearance on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ when asked about his ex-wife, Odom said, “It would be a blessing just to be in her presence.”

While that sounds good, Odom’s latest move likely won’t do him any favors in that regard.

Odom Buys Sex Doll Weirdly Names It After Kardashian

Odom wasted no time letting everyone know that he named a sex doll after his ex, even posting a video to YouTube which was shared by Savvy Universe where he oddly made comments about the doll in reference to Kardashian.

Former NBA star Lamar Odom is being called a freak on social media because he named a sex doll after his ex, Khloe Kardashian, even posting a video to YouTube.

“I can see her a— from the front. She’s shaped like a woman, I can see her thighs.”

He even joked about how the doll could help springboard him into doing women’s fashion.

“This will make me probably get into women’s fashion too. I’m dead serious because I like clothes.”

It’s obvious that Odom needs help if he believes owning a sex doll is something that’s going to inspire him to make women’s clothes.

Odom’s Manager Takes Up For Him While Fans Call Out Odom For Creep Vibes

Lamar Odom’s manager Gina Rodriguez took up for his client’s sex doll shenanigans. Claiming that Odom likes the doll because “he can do whatever he wants with her sexually.”

Fans on the other hand took the opposite approach calling him “weird” and “obseesed.”

“Lamar Odom is a SICK FREAK, commented one person as another said, “My guy, let it go. You’re way too obsessed with your ex-wife. A third person remarked, “It’s weird…you got a doll to look like Khloe.”

Point blank, Odom’s actions are weird, and to hear his manager speak up on his behalf concerning the matter is even weirder.

“I Said Let Me Go Gobble One” | ESPN’s Chris “Mad Dog” Russo In Hot Water Taking Weed Gummy And Throwing Colleague Jessica Mendoza Under The Bus

ESPN analyst Chris “Mad Dog” Russo is known for his outlandish takes, quirky ways and of course his constant yelling on television as a radio shock jock. Mad Dog has been a weekly guest on ESPN’s “First Take” and oftentimes he and host Stephen A. Smith yell so much that you can’t even understand what they’re saying.

Mad Dog Says He Needed To Pop Some Weed Gummies After Listening To Smith

Mad Dog recently revealed that as a way to cope with Smith’s “Yankee nonsense” rant as it pertains to the World Series, he dabbled in the world’s feel-good medicine in order to cope with it. On live air Russo admitted to taking a gummy, but even worse he also took down one of his coworkers with him. Russo was so high he even admitted to “flying” on air.

Russo Namedrops Jessica Mendoza

During an appearance on the ”Sports Illustrated Media” podcast, Russo mentioned that a coworker was in the vicinity but didn’t partake in the guilty pleasure.

“I said let me gobble one, and I went back with Jessie Mendoza and I took a gummy.”

Russo had to clean up his original statement that sounded as if Mendoza joined in the fun, which she didn’t, according to him.

“It’s not accurate, and I got in trouble for that. Because I put Jessica Mendoza in the mix and I shouldn’t have done that… I indicated that she was in the mix. And that wasn’t the right thing to do. So, I’ll take the hit for that.”

Russo also mentioned that while ESPN was extremely ticked off at him, he didn’t know how Mendoza felt because she immediately flew to the Pacifc Northwest.

“She flew to Oregon right after, I have not heard from her. But ESPN did … what are you gonna do? You can’t please everybody.”

Russo Has Always Been A Head Turner

Since his early days on the radio, Russo the legendary shock jock has always done or said things that turned heads, and this particular instance is no different. Adding him to “First Take” hasn’t changed that one bit. In fact, now the show has two guys who love to push the envelope in Russo and Smith.

Although he was able to maneuver himself and wiggle his way out of this one, it sounds like Russo’s leash with ESPN may have gotten shorter with this incident.

‘This Is What The League Has Become?’: $40M Man Gilbert Arenas Uses Bronny James Sold Out G-League Debut To Give $15M Brandon Jennings A Math Lesson

There’s been plenty of complaining going on throughout the NBA and the basketball community concerning what is perceived as preferential treatment for Bronny James. The latest reports of what the Lakers have planned for their second-round draft pick, who came into the league with an $8 million guaranteed contract, has caused more controversy and a differing opinion between two former NBA stars.

“Egregious Abuse Of Power from LBJ and Rich Paul”: Former NBA Player Steven Hunter Eviscerates Bronny James’ $7.9M Contract As “Manipulation” Because LeBron Is No MJ

The Lakers are reportedly designing a custom travel schedule for Bronny to alleviate the stress for the 20-year-old, who will reportedly only participate in G-League games at home with the South Bay Lakers. Arenas’ podcast crew discussed the less-than-pristine condition of hotels that G-League players are forced to stay in  while traveling for games on the road.

So Bronny will split time with his dad’s LA Lakers and South Bay Lakers. Bronny’s debut game will be Nov. 9.

Appearing on “Gil’s Arena” podcast, former NBA player Brandon Jennings has been consistent with expressing his displeasure regarding the preferential treatment of the Lakers rookie: “I don’t like the fact that he’s not traveling, like, with the team. I don’t like that,” Jennings said.

Brandon Jennings Says LeBron and Son Bronny Changed NBA Into A Reality Show

Former NBA player and co-host Rashad McCants asked if, “This is what the league has become?” in reference to the VIP treatment for Bronny.

Jennings doesn’t respect Bronny being awarded certain advantages over other players based on his affiliations and chimed in, “Yes, it’s a reality show.”

the VIP treatment for Bronny, who has been awarded certain advantages based on his affiliations. Gil tried to tell Jennings that nobody cares about the G-League, but Jennings was not coming from a fan perspective.

“They [G-League players] care. If I’m hooping, I care,” he said on the podcast. Both Jennings and McCants were unsupportive of the notion of Bronny not playing on the road with his G-League team.

Gilbert Arenas Says Bronny Is The Son Of A Living Legend So That Counts

However, Arenas sees this Bronny phenomenon in a different light and offers his reasons as to why the Lakers are accommodating Bronny so much.

“Cause my daddy LeBron James. That’s one.. Two, I’m Bronny James… I’m pretty sure he is the second-most famous person on the Lakers themselves,” Arenas explained.

Truth be told, Bronny is already one of the most famous players in the league. He’s been one of the most recognizable figures in sports for the past three years, despite playing a limited amount of games in his freshman season at USC after recovering from a heart problem.

He’s been among the highest-paid amateur athletes in NIL money since his high school days at Sierra Canyon. The James brand has served him well and social media has elevated him to superstar status as a celebrity and Gen Z high-roller.

Bronny is getting standing ovations and people are chanting for him to be inserted into the game, whether he’s playing in high school, G-League or the NBA. Arenas points out how valuable Bronny is for the South Bay Lakes and the visibility his presence brings the team and the players on those teams.

Arenas says people are missing the business aspect of the situation. Bronny isn’t some unknown scrub. You might not think he can ball at the level of his GOAT father — or even the superstars of the league — but he’s a walking brand with over 8.1 million followers on his social platforms. This makes it easy for the Lakers and various brands to sell his presence anywhere they choose.

Bronny James Is NIL King: Worth $10 million and Has 8 Million Social Media Following

Bronny’s NIL plate was already full, prior to being selected as the 55th overall pick in the 2024 amidst great backlash and controversy. He’s acquired deals with Nike, Beats by Dre, PSD Underwear. Despite rarely being on the court in 2023, Bronny had the highest valuation in On3’s NIL database at $7.2 million, nearly double the value of Texas quarterback Arch Manning, who was second ($3.7 million).

Arenas Says Bronny Deserves Special Accommodations: He Brings The Fans

“I think y’all got this f*cked up,” Arenas said. “First of all, I’m (Bronny) coming to this arena. … It’s being filled up because of me. … So y’all shouldn’t have no animosity towards me because this is filled up because of me. … Do your thing, brothers. Do your thing. … It was 2,000 people. … Before I got here. We got 20,000 in here. Show out. Y’all should be happy I’m here.”

From a business perspective, Gil has a point. The Lakers have an advantage with how they can manage Bronny as a brand. He’s not expected to make a huge impact on the court this season, and JJ Redick and GM Rob Pelinka have had a plan in place for Bronny’s development from the jump.

“The plan for Bronny to move between the Lakers and South Bay has always been the plan since day one. (General Manager) Rob (Pelinka) and I have talked about that. LeBron’s talked about that,” Reddick said ahead of the Lakers’ last matchup against the Suns. So, expect to see Bronny on the Lakers’ bench for certain games like Friday’s game against the 76ers. Also expect him to help the G-League team sell out the arena when he’s showing up at home.

Plus, we know LeBron wants to keep a strict eye on his boy, because this is really all his plan. As long as the Lakers ride the theme and the dream and Bronny shows out every once and a while in his G-League games, people like Jennings are going to cry and the Gilbert Arenases of the world are going to see the upside and let it fly.

Why Was ‘Chopped’ Star Tobias Dorzon and Girlfriend Robbed and Shot with Automatic Weapons While Begging To Live?

When it comes to gun violence and robberies against the NFL community, Tobias Dorzon, a former gridiron soldier turned restaurateur and celebrity chef, was the latest member shot on Tuesday, Nov. 5, during an ambush robbery.

According to a county council member in Prince George’s County, Dorzon was one of two people shot multiple times Tuesday night during an armed robbery in Hyattsville, Maryland.

The story is as harrowing and horrible as it seems. On the day that our country supposedly took a positive step forward with a new president, the senseless violence that can be attributed to guns continues to damage lives of great people.

“Such a horrible act couldn’t have happened to a better person. I am sending my deepest sympathies to him and the second victim, as well as their families and friends, and I wish them both a speedy recovery,” Wanika Fisher, a County Council member, said in a statement. “We have no place for this kind of senseless violence in our district or our county.”

According to reports, Dorzon, who played in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans and Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League before launching a transcending career in culinary arts, and an unidentified woman were returning home from dinner around 10 p.m., according to Hyattsville police.

In the blink of an eye, police say four suspects exited out of a car and opened fire on the pair, massacre style.

Dozens of rounds were released while a fifth suspect drove the car. Dorzon and his companion were hit multiple times with automatic weapons, according to NBC-4.

According to Hyattsville Police Chief Jarod Towers, “The suspects then approached the victim and took personal items from him, and then fled in the same vehicle”

Dorzon, 39, and the woman both survived what police are calling a “tragic, heinous, violent” shooting, and fortunately both survived the hail of bullets and were hospitalized with serious wounds.

Surveillance Video Shows Star Chef Tobias Dorzon and Girlfriend, Shot, Robbed and Left For Dead

Surveillance of the shooting is chilling and their survival can only be described as the work of God or some horrible novice gunmen.

After opening fire, a gunman can be spotted in the video surveillance footage robbing Dorzon, who was lying in the street and reportedly begging for his life. His female companion was seen limping behind a nearby car.

Dorzon is a respected member of the Hyattsville community and considered a beloved person of high character and a success story.

Dorzon opened Union District Oyster Bar and Lounge in Washington, D.C. in 2018. Three years later, he helped open a second restaurant, Thirteen Restaurant, in Houston, Texas. In 2022, he opened Huncho House in Hyattsville.

Police Chief Jarod Towers said the shooting “is not tolerated here in the city of Hyattsville. It’s not tolerated anywhere in Prince George’s County or the region. We will bring closure to this case. We will not stop until we seek justice in this case, and this is a barbarous offense.”

Dorzon’s venture into culinary arts was inspired by his  West African heritage and his post-NFL career took off when he starred on several cooking shows, including ‘Chopped,’ ‘Tournament of Champions,’ and ‘Guy’s Grocery Games.’

NFL Players Are Clearly Robbery Targets

The past several seasons, a number of NFL players have been shot during robbery attempts, and fortunately none of them have lost their lives.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds is living a miracle after surviving getting shot twice on Oct. 18 when the 29-year-old was reportedly stalked from a strip club and was hit by a pair of bullets.

In September, a 17-year-old boy shot San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall in the chest in a robbery attempt. Pearsall was taking a stroll around 3:30 p.m. PT, when an altercation broke out between the two, resulting in both of them suffering injuries, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

Back in 2022, Washington Commanders rookie Brian Robinson Jr. was the victim of an attempted robbery in Washington, D.C., where he was shot multiple times.

‘The Most Down Low Is Usually The Most Serious, Strongest, Angriest’ | Unfiltered Gilbert Arenas Goes Diplomatic When Put On VladTV Hot Seat About Dwight Howard’s Sexuality

Following a very good NBA career former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas has made a nice niche in the podcast world. The outspoken former dynamic scoring guard has hit the road running with his “No Chill Gil” podcast and “Gil’s Arena,” show which takes place in his basement.

The guy affectionately known as “Agent Zero” or “Hibachi” from his time in Washington where he always seemed to have flare for the dramatic, has never shunned away from a conversation.

It’s well-known if you want the answer ask Gil, and that’s exactly what DJ Vlad did during Arenas’ appearance on his podcast. Vlad, another outspoken talking head, asked Arenas about his close friend and former NBA big man Dwight Howard’s sexuality.

Usually Out-Spoken Gilbert Arenas Goes Silent When Vlad TV Asked About Dwight Howard Sexuality Mystery

Amongst a bevy of topics during Arenas’ interview came a question about Howard’s sexual preference, with Vlad saying this to Arenas.

“I interviewed his [Howard’s] baby mother, Royce Reed, and she told a bunch of very interesting stories about parties with every pronoun in attendance,” Vlad said. “And listen, my man who books a lot of interviews for us, he did an interview with him [Howard] and asked him flat out if he was gay, and he didn’t really answer the question.”

To which Gil replied, “When it comes to teammates, you have to respect the process of whatever they’re going through. It’s not my job to push the envelop on trying to figure out if it’s true or not. … Look, I think with stuff like that, if you’re on the down low, you want to come out on your own and not be forced out. Who knows?”

“Yeah, but that don’t mean you’re ready for it, Arenas added. “[When you’re a celebrity] you can’t get in front it, because someone forced you to do it. … The person who is the most down low in the locker room is usually the most serious, strongest, angriest.”

For a while Howard’s sexuality has been in question, but Gil did his best not to say something that would put Howard’s business out, while also keeping it a buck in his overall response.

Gil Spoke Up On Howard’s NBA Top 75 Snub

Dwight Howard Is Still Fighting For His Damn Respect | Says He Was Better In His Prime Than Nikola Jokić, But The 2023 Finals MVP Is “Getting Way More Opportunities”

When the NBA revealed its Top 75 list in October 2021, one very noticeable admission was not having Howard a former three-time DPOY on the list. For a four-to-five year stretch Howard was easily the best two-way big man in the league and deserved to make the list over a handful of others who did. At the time of the announcement Arenas called it “mind boggling” and he blamed the media for having too much power.

Arenas says Howard’s career numbers put him closer to the Top 25, so him not being in the Top 75 is asinine.

‘I Don’t Want To Be The Angry Old Head’ | WNBA Legend Candace Parker Laments “How Much Better I Would Have Been” If She Had The Advantages That Caitlin Clark Has

WNBA legend Candace Parker, who’s still the only player in league history to win MVP and Rookie of the Year, is sounding off on a bevy of topics, and let’s just say the former Tennessee Volunteers legend wants her flowers.

Parker, who achieved her double in 2008, also won three WNBA titles. Known for her two-way ability, she also won the DPOY award in 2020. That’s just some of the accolades she accrued throughout her remarkable career.

Parker played 16 WNBA seasons, retiring in April just prior to the start of the 2024 season. Parker’s retirement coincided with the arrival of 2024 No. 1 overall Caitlin Clark, who also won Rookie of the Year honors this past season.

The former Iowa star’s star power also played a role in some changes around the league, one being chartered flights, something Parker never had during her playing career. During a recent appearance on “The Deal” with Alex Rodriguez and Jason Kelly, Parker sounded like the angry old head.

Parker Admits She’s Jealous Of Upgraded Luxuries In Today’s WNBA

“I’m pissed that they started doing chartered flights the year I retired, I’m not gonna lie,” Parker said. “All of us feel a responsibility and a part of the growth that’s happening right now. I mean, the league was hard for so many years, and that’s what I said when I retired: ‘I hope that it’s not too hard for the next [generation].’ Not so difficult.”

“More so, I’m mad because I’m thinking of how much better I could have been if I had an offseason, if I didn’t have to go overseas, and I could have put weight on, and I could have bulked up in the weight room,” Parker continued. “But I also look at the doors that are opening now, and where the sport is. … I work with a lot of angry old heads. I don’t want to be the angry old head.”

“So I’m not gonna be, you know, Shaq coming in, like ‘Oh, man up!’ I’m not gonna be that. I’m gonna be the person where I’m happy where it’s at,” she concluded.

From the sound of it, Parker is happy the league is growing leaps and bounds, but at the same time she just wishes it would’ve happened during her playing days. She even took a subtle jab at good friend and TNT colleague Shaquille O’Neal.

Clark Has Always Given Legends Their Flowers

While many credit Clark with the league’s rise, the Indiana Fever star is quick to credit those who came before her. In fact, the night prior to the WNBA draft, Clark had this to say about some of the players who helped pave the way for her and others.

“Thanks to all the great players like Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Cynthia Cooper, the great Dawn Staley, and my basketball hero, Maya Moore. These are the women that kicked down the door so I could walk inside. So I want to thank them tonight for laying the foundation.”

In the end it’s a timing thing, and it’s as simple as Parker crawled so Clark and others could walk.

“Stephen A.’s Become a Little Bit Too Big For His Britches”: As Stephen A. Smith Hints At 2028 Presidential Run On “The View,” Doug Gottlieb Says His Sports Game Fell Off

Stephen A. Smith for President 2028? Don’t laugh. Stranger things have happened.

On Wednesday it was announced that Donald Trump will become the 47th president of the United States, and ESPN talking head Stephen A. Smith, who has gone from a beat reporter to the biggest name at the 24-hour sports and entertainment giant, might be contemplating his own run at the 2028 Presidential seat.

With Trump going from businessman to reality TV star to the nation’s highest political office, Smith, who recently appeared on “The View” and was asked whether he would ever consider running for president might have surprised some people with his answer.

He definitely is not too humbled by the thought.

Will Sports Media Icon Stephen A. Smith Run For President In 2028?

“If you came to me and you told me I had a legitimate shot to win the presidency of the United States of America, I would definitely consider it,” Smith said.

“I wish I could debate some of these guys. I’d love to be on the debate stage going up against these guys with the presidency on the line,” he continued.

Smith doesn’t have an extensive political background. Earlier in his career, when Smith was in between TV gigs, he was doing some political hits here and there on cable networks, but that was short-lived as he returned to the sports debate forum whenever an opportunity opened up.

He did appear on CNN 13 years ago when Obama was running for re-election to express some negative opinions about the Democratic party that seems to strike a chord with Black people around every election.

Smith Said Democratic Party Takes Black Vote For Granted

Smith said that “The Democratic Party has taken the Black vote for granted for quite some time.” Then suggested that Black people should play hard to get when it comes to re-electing Barrack Obama and not just do it because he’s Black. It’s a train of thought that got Joe Biden in trouble early in his campaign, when he told Black people that if they don’t vote for him, then “you’re not Black.”

So, Smith has political opinions, and he can go in that bag if necessary.

One can’t help but to see similarities between Trump and Smith as far as their charisma, loud personality, effect on people and unfiltered opinions that are great for shock value.

If entertainment is what the country wants in a president, then take Smith’s comments seriously. He already has an historic media following and has given his opinion on social issues for years on his sports platforms. He hasn’t been afraid to criticize coaches, billionaires or United States presidents.

He wouldn’t lack passion, ideas or people willing to give his vision a chance. At this point moving forward the formula for becoming a U.S presidential candidate is wide open, and people seem to want entertainment to be a part of the president’s qualifications list.

‘People Shouldn’t Be Using My Name To Push Those Agendas’: Did Stephen A. Smith Call Caitlin Clark A Weapon Of Mass Destruction For Trump Supporters?

If Smith did gain enough momentum to run it would probably be on the Democratic ticket, although he’s been known to reach across the table when debating issues of race and social justice.

However, even if he received a lot of support, he would undoubtedly be met with backlash.

There are some people who would tell Stephen A. Smith to stick to sports and stay out of politics. It’s too ambitious and egotistical.

Sports Show Host Doug Gottlieb Says Stephen A. Smith Is Bad For Business

Doug Gottlieb is one of those people. This week, after officially making his head coaching debut for his alma mater Wisconsin-Green Bay, Gottlieb also a radio and TV personality, was a guest on “The Main Event with Andrew Marchand” and told us why he thinks Smith’s fame has detracted from the quality of his game as an analyst and debater.

“Stephen A.’s become a little bit too big for his britches,” Doug Gottlieb said at one point in the conversation. “I think a lot of those are artificial arguments. I respect how strong an orator he is, how strong a personality he is and the fact he’ll bring his ‘Stephen A.’ to everything he does. But I also think there’s a level of preparedness that is missing or a level of realness that’s missing and that’s why I say those arguments are artificial.”

Gottlieb went as far as to suggest that Stephen A. Smith’s success has watered down the game and forced knowledgeable and sharp analysts and talking heads who are attuned with the game to dumb down their arguments to fit into a commercialized package of pure opinion.

“And that disappoints me,” Gottlieb added. “Because I think there’s a lot of talented people out there that are getting opportunities. But they’re not really giving the depth of what they know. Instead, they’re just making top level arguments, which is clearly barbershop stuff. And I don’t think you should settle for that level.”

‘Another Woman That Doesn’t Listen’: Inspired By A New MAGA America, Kevin Durant Demeans FanDuel TV’s Kay Adams and She Laughs It Off

At 35 years old, NBA superstar Kevin Durant is at the top of his game, coming off an Olympic gold medal in Paris, healthy and leading a 7-1 Phoenix Suns team on what Durant hopes will be a final championship run.

While he’s been dedicated to his time on the court, the two-time NBA Finals MVP hasn’t slacked in his reputation as an active X user and defender of himself against criticisms. He no longer uses the burner accounts (we think), but he’s not afraid to mix it up with other people on the platform, which has elevated Durant to another level of popularity. Although it is based in ridicule, he has embraced it.

Kevin Durant’s Reason For Why He Should Be In The NBA GOAT Conversation Gets Shredded By ESPN “First Take” Crew

Similar to LeBron James, he’s in the twilight of a legendary career and he doesn’t have much of a filter these days, and doesn’t give a damn, especially when it comes to the world of live podcasts and TV.

Kevin Durant Told Kay Adams She Was “Another Woman That Doesn’t Listen”

During an interview with sportscaster and TV personality Kay Adams, Durant’s political correctness flew out of the window when they were discussing fantasy football. He definitely wasn’t reading the political climate of the country, especially as it pertains to the perception of women and their role in this recent election.

Kevin Durant is apparently having issues with his fantasy football team, having selected injured Dak Prescott as his QB1.

Dak’s injury can have a timeline of over four weeks, but reports say Prescott is also seeking treatment options outside of surgery for a quicker return to the field. The Dallas Cowboys are struggling at 3-5 with a crucial NFC East division game against the 6-2 Philadelphia Eagles. Jerry Jones’ Super Bowl-ready team is hanging by a string.

Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant told Kay Adams his blunt opinion on women’s listening skills during a fantasy football talk on her popular “Up & Adams” show on FanDuel TV. (Screenshot: FanDuel)

“I felt it when I was getting up from the run. I can’t even say I felt it running. Maybe it was the tackle or something on the tackle,” Prescott said of the injury.

“When I was standing up from that, I felt something but didn’t think it was much.

“Did you see the Dak news?” Adams asked on an episode of her podcast “Up & Adams.”

“I hope he has a speedy recovery. My fantasy team took a hit for sure,” Durant replied.

Adams appeared to be in disbelief when Durant revealed that Dak was his quarterback, but the Slim Reaper insists that he told her, which led to an awkward exchange.

“You never told me that he was your QB!” Adams said.

“I did tell you that!” Durant replied.

“Another woman that doesn’t listen. You don’t listen to me!”

Kay Adams Laughs Off KD’s Potential Disrespect To Women

Credit Adams for laughing off Durant’s demeaning outburst. If you asked 10,000 random men if they agree with Durant, it would be a safe bet to suggest that more than half would think Durant’s comments were right on the money.

However, if you asked 10,000 women what they thought of Durant’s comments, more than half would probably find it offensive.

Adams clearly didn’t freak out over it and actually dropped her head into her hands to contain her laughter.

“You forget things too easily,” Durant said.

KD Is Toeing The Line With Comments On Kay Adams Show

Durant forgot at that moment that his mama was “the real MVP” and you can’t be making generalizations about genders or groups of people in today’s climate. You definitely can’t be telling women they don’t listen.

There’s always a group looking to cancel a celebrity that’s just hanging out and minding his own business. If he specifically referred to his wife or significant other, then it would have been more digestible. But Durant keeps those things very private and has often said that women are a distraction to his goals as an NBA player and entrepreneur.

“Damn Gang Who Said I Was Talking About U” | Patrick Beverley And Kevin Durant Get Into It On Twitter After Reports Surfaced KD Is Staying In Brooklyn

It’s possible that Durant’s comment really just shows how comfortable he was talking to Kay and you’d assume they clearly have a chemistry. Her ability to keep it moving and not create a gender war or try to prove why Durant’s generalization was untrue is why FanDuel TV pays her the big bucks.

Kay Adams Has Reported Net Worth Of $1M and Nearly 2M Social Media Followers

When FanDuel TV launched in September of 2022, Adams was tabbed as one of the new faces of the revolutionary sports viewing experience. The former popular host of the NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football now hosts FanDuel TV’s flagship program.

She has over 660,000 followers on Twitter and 500,000 on Instagram. And another 500,000 subscribers on her ‘Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams’ YouTube channel.

Adams says she wanted to help pioneer an entirely new sports betting/viewing paradigm that will likely set the tone for future network launches from other competitors.

“To me, success on this show will be building a community that is ready for the future of what sports content looks like,” Adams said. “[Sports betting] is a part of our game. It’s the future of the industry. I want to be on the right side of that.”

She’s done that, and the way she turned KD’s misogyny into comedy is a method that more people need to be open too.

‘We Don’t Need Their Help!’: Trump Supporters Scold Billionaire LeBron James For Featuring Daughter Zhuri In Post Election Rant To Gain Sympathy

The sports world is recovering from Tuesday’s election, and the fallout has been predictable for those who were pro-Kamala Harris for various reasons.

LeBron James made a late public endorsement for Harris on Oct. 31, basically painting his vote as a choice between good and evil. Protecting his family and kids from policies and beliefs that could infringe upon their freedoms.

So, when news of Trump’s emphatic victory hit, all X eyes were on King James, who drove home his disappointment about the election results by posting a picture of him in Lakers warmups, hugging and kissing his daughter Zhuri as she eats an ice cream cone.

LeBron James is under attack on social media for using his daughter Zhuri in a post-election post appearing to condemn Donald Trump’s election win. (Photo: @kingjames/Getty Images)

Above the adorable photo was an Instagram caption that read, “HEAVY ON MY HEART & MIND THIS AM MY PRINCESS!! PROMISE TO PROTECT YOU WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE AND MORE!! WE DON’T NEED THEIR HELP!

The post was very sweet and an indirect way of expressing his love for his daughter as a father and his feelings about Trump’s victory. The issues of abortion and women’s reproductive rights and the president’s overall attitude toward women had been a hot platform that Kamala Harris was counting on gaining her the support of women across the country.

So, while LeBron’s message was touching from a parent’s perspective, social media users, still fired up from the election, called James out for using his daughter to gain sympathy and take a shot at their savior.

Some of the reactions to his comment by his 200 million followers on x and Instagram were spirited and unsupportive.

One X user accused James of embellishing the drama by saying that he’s protecting his daughter against potential issues that won’t affect her until years from now such as pregnancy rights.

“His daughter is literally 9 and bro is worried about abortion laws 🤣😂”

The criticisms kept coming for the billionaire ballplayer. Most of the responses downplayed James’ concern, citing his fortune as a reason why his daughter and family won’t be affected by the everyday issues that a Trump presidency could cause average working folks. Others simply didn’t feel he needed to express the message in that way.

The responses came in a hurry, with people angered that LeBron thinks Trump is a threat to his daughter. They feel it’s a part of the fearmongering that the Democratic Party tried to do to make Donald Trump look bad and damage his credibility.

“I’m a hardcore LeBron fan. But he is so politically deranged. Protect Zhuri from what? Getting pregnant? But abortions are accessible to you. Protect her from losing her rights? What rights? To become a man when underaged? What rights will Trump take away from her demographic?”

The way people complain about Trump’s reported financial leniency plans for the rich, you’d think the first NBA player-billionaire, who has plans of acquiring an NFL franchise would at least be keeping his disdain for the man who will become the 47th president of the United States on the low.

Back in 2016, LeBron was a vocal Hillary Clinton supporter, but when she lost to Trump, he was a bit more optimistic and open to giving him a chance.

James, who had said that of the two candidates only Clinton understood the struggles of children born into poverty in Akron, had mixed emotions about President-elect Trump.

“He’s our president, James said at the time, “No matter if you agree with it or disagree with it, he’s the guy, and we all have to figure a way to make America as great as it can be. We all have to do our part. Our nation has never been built on one guy, anyways. It’s been built on multiple guys, multiple people in power, multiple people having a dream and making it become a reality by giving back to the community, by giving back to the youth, doing so many great things.

“We always have a guy that has the most power, and that’s the President of the United States. But it’s never been built on one guy. We all have to figure out a way we can better our country. We all know, we all feel, that this is the best country in the world. We have to all do our part. It’s not about him. It’s not about him at all, especially not for me and what I do.”

Now that James had eight more years to see Trump go to work on his agenda, Bron doesn’t seem to be giving him any more chances.

LeBron James On Top Of The World Despite Lakers Struggles and Kamala Harris Election Loss

Other than his election blues, LeBron is on top of the world. At 39 years of age, he delivered a vintage performance with 39 points in 35 minutes in a 131-114 road loss to Ja Morant’s Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night. Anthony Davis is out indefinitely with another injury and Bron is doing his best to step up with the Lakers on a two-game losing streak.

“I think LeBron was fantastic tonight, said Lakers rookie coach JJ Redick. “Biggest thing that stood out. … He played hard. Almost 40 years old and played the hardest on our team. It says a lot about him.”

Bron’s team might not be championship material, but this season is sort of a pre-farewell tour as he approaches 40, with his voice and brand stronger than ever. He’s already made NBA history by playing on the same court as his son Bronny and tying Vince Carter for the most seasons in NBA history. He’s sure to make more personal history as the season progresses.

He’s also guaranteed to say something every once and a while that the average fan isn’t going to like.

‘He’s The Fakest Player In The League’: Blowhard Actor Michael Rapaport Thinks LeBron James Is A Phony and Says Other NBA Players Share His Opinion

Actor Michael Rapaport recently called LeBron “a fake” because Bron didn’t greet him and give his kids autographs at an All-Star Weekend back in the day. He’s also been very critical of LeBron ever since he shunned the “Prison Break” actor’s Knicks team to go form a Big Three in Miami and change the course of basketball history forever.

‘Our Locker Room Is Our Safe Space’: Fred VanVleet Expresses Same Violated Feelings As Paul George And Draymond Green About Weird Reporters In Locker Room

In light of Joel Embiid‘s three-game suspension for shoving Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Marcus Hayes due to less-than-tactful references the reporter made to Embiid’s family in an article, media etiquette in the locker room has become a topic of discussion in the NBA lately.

Players not only have to be leery of what kind of story a reporter is writing, but also, they don’t have much control over who enters the locker room, how serious a journalist they are and what level of experience they have dealing with players.

First it was Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George who questioned how a player’s privacy is often compromised by locker room media. George’s comments were piggybacked by the always outspoken and often controversial Draymond Green.

Draymond Green, Paul George, Fred VanVleet Say Media Has Too Much Access To NBA Locker Rooms

Both parties agree wholeheartedly that reporters have too much access to players seeking some moments of privacy both pregame and postgame. Joining George and Green in the fight against this very thing is Houston Rockets guard Fred VanVleet who had quite a lot to say about the locker room malpractice.

In a recent interview with reporters, the aforementioned VanVleet told reporters this.

“Your whole a— might be out in somebody’s video while you trying to get dressed. You know what I’m saying. It’s like I don’t necessarily want to see that, you know what I mean? On the internet. But yeah, we might need to reevaluate that one. Know that’s the fact.”

VanVleet’s comments go back to George telling reporters this about how sacred a locker room is suppose to be.

“Our locker room is our safe space.”

Green said it’s the most “non-private” place in the arena.

VanVleet Says Some Reporters Are Weird

One thing VanVleet made sure he did was to show respect for the reporters who come in do their job and leave. It’s the ones that don’t seemingly understand the word tact. Then it’s those who are the real culprits, the reason why these NBA players feel violated at times.

‘You Lost, This Is Caitlin’s Country Now’: Social Media Shows No Remorse For Sorrowful Angel Reese Post Blasting Selfish Voters Who “Couldn’t Put Your Pride Aside”

Angel Reese is one patriot who didn’t wake up on the right side of the bed after seeing the results of the presidential election. She was one of a legion of WNBA players who were nominally backing Kamala Harris for president.

Reese never came out and endorsed Harris publicly, claiming, “I’m not that educated right now, but just continue to learn and give feedback, but everybody go out there and vote.”

But she is closely aligned with her WNBA OGs. Especially the ones who are trying to figure out how to blend foundational views with a new influx of fans.

Angel Reese Sends Message About Presidential Election Results: Kamala Harris Loses to Trump

Reese sent a message to America on an X message that already has surpassed 2 million views: “I’m so disappointed in America…Some of you just couldn’t selfishly put your pride aside, huh??!?!?!?

Prior to that, Reese posted: “As a woman, i’m heartbroken for us all…”

Of course, Reese, who is already a hot-button item for Caitlin Clark’s cult, received plenty of backlash from various voices on X.

“Be disappointed in the fact that you’ll never be Caitlin Clark,” said one X user.

“It wasn’t pride, it was the high gas prices, high food prices, high mortgage rates car loan rates house prices and so much more,” said another X user who clearly believes Donald Trump is going to solve all of these issues.

She did have some supporters like @JustVent, who responded: “Wasn’t pride, it was racism and misogyny.”

But the Cailtin Clark committee was out in full swing and not letting up.

Future of WNBA Is A Mystery

The people have spoken, and Reese is crying over spilled milk at this point. Maybe the WNBA players will step up their political hustle next race. They were much less active than in the past with their activism and political engagement, but that’s the give-and-take when you’re trying to make your league financially viable to everyone.

“He Was The First Guy To Embarrass Me”: Shaquille O’Neal’s Relationship With Donald Trump Started In 1990s With $1M Offer For One-on-One Versus Hakeem Olajuwon

Donald Trump flipped all three “blue wall” states and regained his seat at the top of America’s political throne and will become the next President of the United States. Long before he was everything that America wanted in a president, he was Donny from Queens, a mover and shaker in the areas of real estate, sports and entertainment. During his victory speech in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump invited UFC President Dana White onstage with him.

That community has rallied around Trump, but when it comes to business he often reached across the political table in the world of entertainment.

The 78-year-old has had his hands in the sports world for decades, including his stint as charismatic owner of the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League.

Donald Trump Put Up $1M For 1 v 1 Between Shaq and Hakeem Olajuwon In 1995

In the ’90s, Trump allegedly tried to go into a sports venture with rising NBA star Shaquille O’Neal. Trump put up $1M in prize money for a special one-on-one matchup between the two elite centers in the NBA and two of the league’s faces — Shaq and Hakeem Olajuwon. That was a huge bag even as NBA salaries were starting to explode. Magic Johnson led the NBA in highest-salary in the 1994-95 season ($14.66 million) and Patrick Ewing held it down the following season, hauling in $18.7 million with the Knicks.

Olajuwon Bested Shaq In 1995 NBA Finals

A young Shaq and peak Olajuwon had just gone toe-to-toe and blow-for-blow in the 1995 NBA Finals.  “The Dream” averaged 33.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 22 games in the 1995 playoffs. He won his second Finals MVP award and his second NBA championship.

Shaq and Hakeem 1 v 1 At Taj Mahal Casino Was Cancelled: Hakeem Had Bad Back

In an attempt to capitalize on the exploding fame of both players, their agent suggested the idea of a classic 1v1 match-up. Such a suggestion would take off today with social media to fuel the frenzy and give the fans a voice in the matter. It would take a bag to make it happen and Trump reportedly planned to host the event at his Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City and put up seven figures in prize money.

Unfortunately, the event was reportedly canceled at the midnight hour after Hakeem injured his back, and it was never rescheduled. A potential classic moment in time, lost. It would have been something, because Shaq admits that he held a chip on his shoulder after that Finals loss and it inspired him to become a better player and sign with the Los Angeles Lakers to capture his true destiny on the biggest stage.

“He was the first guy to actually embarrass me, because I really didn’t know what he was going to do,” Shaq said in a throwback interview.

“Hakeem Olajuwon had everything…Most centers only had two or three moves…. Mentally he wouldn’t break,” Shaq added about the Nigerian icon.

Shaq went on to win four NBA championships, three Finals MVP awards and one regular season MVP. At this point in history, Shaq Deisel is widely considered on par or better than Hakeem, who was drafted No. 1 overall ahead of Michael Jordan in the 1984 NBA draft and finished his career among the GOAT centers with an MVP and 12 All-Star appearances to accompany his championship accolades.

Shaq Developed An Understanding Of Donald Trump Over The Years

Over the years, Shaq and Trump have developed a relationship and Shaq doesn’t deny it. In a previous interview now eight years old, Shaq acknowledged his friendship with Donald Trump and said Trump was misunderstood before the 2016 election.

“Donald Trump speaks to an eclectic type of audience,” O’Neal said.

Shaq basically endorsed Trump, acknowledging that while Trump speaks his mind, he often delivers his messages poorly.

“I just think he says it wrong.”

O’Neal added that Trump has no problem telling people to do things he thinks they should do such as tucking in their shirts or pointing things out.

“Donald’s like a straight-up guy. He’s a straightforward guy,” Shaq proclaimed.

Maybe with Trump as president we’ll see the return of 1v1’s between some of the stars of the NBA. That’s also probably a pipe dream. The way today’s contracts are structured it’s probably more unlikely than ever that we would see this generation of injury prone stars be allowed by the league to do anything other than risk themselves for some exhibition games in the Olympics.

“After The Last Game, Man, Y’all Not Gon’ See Me”: Colorado Buffaloes Star QB Shedeur Sanders Says Registering For Classes Is Useless — “I’m Going To The League”

Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback Shedeur Sanders is preparing to lead his team into a tough road game at Texas Tech this weekend. The strong-armed gunslinger has guided the Buffaloes to a surprising 6-2 record this season, while also improving his soaring draft stock.

With just four games likely left in his collegiate career, as well as a decision on whether he wants to play in the team’s first bowl game since 2020, Sanders is letting it be known that he’s heading to the NFL.

Shedeur Sanders Goes Tom “Brady Mode” In Epic Comeback Against Colorado State | He’ll Need To Keep It Going For Tough Road Ahead

Shedeur Sanders Is Headed To NFL After Season: No. 1 Overall Pick?

As the team practiced on Monday, Sanders who’s known to be a quite a jokester, didn’t sound like one when he basically said there was no reason for him to register for classes next semester. During practice coaches were stressing to the players that the deadline to get classes chosen for next semester was looming, but don’t tell Sanders, who’s a projected top 10 pick, they could even go in the top five of the 2025 NFL draft.

Sanders Quips That He’s Out

“I’m going to the league. At registration?! I know after the last game, man, y’all not gon’ see me.”

While it isn’t a surprise to hear Sanders say that, the way he presented it was pretty funny. Sanders and Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward are the top two quarterback prospects in the draft, and both are likely to go somewhere in the top seven picks.

That’s more than enough reason for Sanders to head to the league and begin his professional career, especially since he awkwardly claims he doesn’t have a trust fund set up by his Hall of Fame father Deion Sanders

Shedeur Has Been A Star In College

Ever since his arrival at Jackson State in 2021, Sanders has been good. In two seasons with the Tigers he passed for nearly 7,000 yards and 69 touchdowns.

Sanders transferred to Colorado with his legendary dad in December 2022, and hasn’t slowed down, in fact he’s been just as good if not better, passing for over 5,800 yards and 48 touchdowns in 19 starts.

The most impressive abilities that Sanders possesses may be his accuracy (70 percent completion percentage) and how he protects the football. He’s only thrown 23 interceptions in his entire collegiate career, that’s good enough for a 5:1 touchdown to interception ratio.

‘I Wish I Could Split Myself In Half’ | Shaunie Henderson Is A Mother Torn As She Chooses To Watch Daughter Me’arah’s Florida Debut Over Son Shaqir’s FAMU Game

Me’arah O’Neal, daughter of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, recently made her collegiate debut with the Florida Gators.

The 2024 No. 33-ranked player, who was also the third-ranked prospect from the state of Texas, didn’t disappoint. After performing well in the Gators exhibition with six points and five rebounds, O’Neal was even better in the Gators first real game.

Shaquille O’Neal’s Daughter Me’arah Shines Early For Florida

This time around, O’Neal went for a solid seven points, five rebounds and one assist in twenty minutes as the Gators beat the Florida Atlantic Owls 82-54.

In many ways O’Neal’s improvement is no surprise, especially when you consider the lineage and legacy attached to her name.

Me’arah’s debut was a family affair as mom Shaunie Henderson attended the game after having to decide whether to attend her game or brother Shaqir’s game with FAMU. Henderson reportedly watched her son’s game from her phone while supporting Me’arah in person.

Henderson Pens Note To Both Children Prior To Debut

As she made the ultimate decision to attend Me’arah’s game over Shaqir’s Henderson took to Instagram to talk about the struggle of having to choose one child over the other.

“The moments I wish I could split myself in half… Both my babies game openers tonight. I’ll be sitting in the stands watching one while holding my phone watching the other.  MOTHERHOOD! I love every minute of it. Cheering for both at the time!”

Shaquille O'Neal's ex-wife Shaunie Henderson chose to go to her daughter Me'arah's debut game at Florida over her son Shakir's debut at FAMU. She was torn by the decision and sent both her kids a heartfelt message.

The Big Names Of WCBB Also Shined

While O’Neal put up a solid stat line in her collegiate debut, other stars like JuJu Watkins and Flau’Jae Johnson did what they always do. Watkins, the preseason Big Ten Player of the Year went for 27 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and five blocks in her sophomore season debut. The No. 3 Trojans needed every bit of it in escaping a scrappy Ole Miss team 68-66 in Paris, France.

UConn star Paige Bueckers led the Huskies to an 89-49 exhibition win over Fort Hays by going for 27 points, nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal. She went 12 of 14 from the field and 3-for-4 from three. The dynamic playmaker also began the game by going 8 of 8.

‘The Mahomes Family Being Involved In The WNBA in ANY Form Or Fashion Is Not Okay’: Emmy Winner Morgann Mitchell Says Mahomes Family WNBA Ownership Not Wanted

The big sports story on Election Day was not related to the football field, but the reaction Patrick Mahomes’ mom Randi got from social media after she gave a resounding endorsement of Donald Trump following her son Patrick’s “Monday Night Football” win.

The Mahomes family has recently been in the news because Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the ownership group of the Kansas City Current, who play in the National Women’s Soccer League, have been meeting with WNBA officials about bringing an expansion franchise to the city.

Mahomes confirmed the talks Thursday, saying that it was a “no-brainer” to try to bring women’s hoops to Kansas City.

“Obviously, we want to get basketball in Kansas City in general,” said Mahomes, who also has ownership stakes in the Royals and MLS club Sporting Kansas City. “You talk about the University of Kansas basketball, the Chiefs, whatever it is, the city is going to come out to the stadium. It’s cool we were able to get the women’s soccer team here and you see the support they have.”

Mahomes’ intentions seem great, but unfortunately his mom’s Trump endorsement doesn’t sit well with the WNBA and Black women throughout the world of sports who saw Randi Mahomes’ endorsement, leading to pushback concerning Mahomes buying into the WNBA.

Morgann Mitchell Doesn’t Want Patrick Mahomes To Buy WNBA Team

Two-time Sports Emmy winning producer Morgann Mitchell posted on X:

“The Mahomes family being involved in the WNBA in ANY form or fashion is not okay. They are showing everyone who they are and the W is not that.”

What Mitchell means is the WNBA has always been an organization that votes heavily Democrat and fights against racial, gender, sex, and religious discrimination and oppression. Social justice is a calling card for the league.

Mitchell is saying the league doesn’t want a MAGA takeover in ownership.

X users seemed to get her drift after Morgann posted a picture beneath her initial post with a link to an article written by Times magazine in January of 2021, entitled ‘We Did That’: Inside The WNBA’s Strategy to Support Raphael Warnock–and Help Democrats Win The Senate.”

Social Media Reacts To Morgann Mitchell Anti-Mahomes Family Post

The WNBA exploded this season in ratings, revenue and social media attention. Game 5 of its championship peaked at 3.3 million TV viewers, the most-watched WNBA game in a quarter of a century. With the players and league preparing for Collective Bargaining negotiations, players are searching for a larger cut of the revenue. As Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and other players continue to make the WNBA a more commercially-viable product, expansion is inevitable and rich white ownership will eventually prevail as it always does in these instances.

“The owners are all Republicans,” noted one X user.

The WNBA is expanding by three teams over the next two seasons with Golden State, Portland and Toronto pushing the total number of franchises to 15, so they need an ownership group with some major paper.

WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert has said the WNBA would like to add a 16th team by the 2028 season, Kansas City is expected to have competition from St. Louis, Philadelphia and several other cities.

Patrick Mahomes Often Judged Off Actions Of His Family

Mahomes is considered a Black guy with a Black father, but he is surrounded by white women and mixed children.

That’s just the reality of his life. His brother, father and the women in his immediate family make the media headlines for things that have nothing to do with football. His wife and mom are way more vocal than him when it comes to this election.

While Patrick realizes that endorsing a candidate does nothing for his brand, they are letting it be known, in the eyes of many, exactly what side they rock with, and therefore where their morals reside.

Why Is WNBA Choosing Political Sides and Limiting Business?

Some social media responders couldn’t understand why the WNBA, which is  trying to improve profit and function as a business, would alienate half of the country by claiming to be a political party.

On X user raised tha point, saying, “I’m not Maga or Republican but the idea of gatekeeping the WNBA to one political party seems pretty f-cking asinine not to mention authoratarian, from activists who claim to be inclusive and tolerant mind you?

The Current play in a $117 million purpose-built stadium near downtown Kansas City and attendance is solid. The team regularly sold out home matches this season and are having success on the field. They begin the NWSL playoffs as the No. 4 seed on Nov. 9 after a three-loss season.

Mahomes and his wife, Brittany — a former soccer player — often attend Current and Sporting KC matches. Mahomes also has a private box to view Kansas City Royals baseball games.

“I think more than anything, I know how much sports has given to me,” said Mahomes, whose unbeaten Chiefs are seeking an NFL-record third straight Super Bowl title.

“Whenever I’m done with football — whenever that is — and I have to venture into life after football, and chase kids around, I want to still be a part of it. Hopefully, we can get this WNBA team here, for life after football, so I can make an impact in sports, and show my daughter that you can chase your dream, whatever dream that is.”

Mahomes believes a WNBA franchise would be the perfect fit for the downtown arena.

“They want to expand. Just like any other business, you have to pick and choose how,” he said. “Obviously, you’ve seen the last few years the WNBA has grown. We feel like Kansas City is a great place to continue that growth, but we have to battle other cities to show them that this is the right place.”

Now we will have to see how the WNBA players receive Brittany and Randi Mahomes wearing MAGA hats at home games. That should be interesting.

‘No Wonder Why He Hates His Whole Family’: Social Media Enraged At Patrick Mahomes’ Mom For Having Bi-Racial Family But Endorsing Donald Trump

Patrick Mahomes’ mom wasn’t pump-faking or trying to throw the defense offside with her support of Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election after her biracial son led his Kansas City Chiefs to an 8-0 start by defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night.

Randi took to X to set the record straight for Election Day, per a video posted and re-posted.

“Make America great again. Let’s do it. Woo!” she proudly cheered while standing in a VIP suite.

Randi’s hat went perfectly with her red Chiefs sweater. Patrick’s mom shares the same political views as her daughter-in-law Brittany Mahomes, who supported the former president earlier this year, then sources say she walked her allegiance back after he posted “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” on Truth Social, which caused quite a stir that Patrick Mahomes was dragged into.

“To Support A Racist Is Problematic … Her Kids Are Biracial”: Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Could Be Rethinking Trump Support After Taylor Swift Hate, But “The View” Hosts Aren’t Buying It

The View” Hosts Rip Into Brittany Mahomes For Trump Affiliation: She Strikes Back

This led to Brittany getting blasted by the co-hosts of “The View” back in September for being married to a Black husband and having biracial kids and even considering supporting Trump.

Several of the view hosts, including Whoopie Goldberg, said Brittany was mad at Trump for disrespecting her good friend, not because “he was being a racist and being misogynistic, and…that didn’t get you going?” Goldberg sarcastically asked.

They clearly didn’t buy it. This possible change of heart came after Patrick’s wife received major backlash after allegedly “liking” an Aug. 13 Instagram post from Trump, even though neither she nor her three-time Super Bowl-winning husband has officially endorsed a candidate.

She lashed back at her haters via social media:

“I mean honestly … To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

“There’s no reason your brain is fully developed, and you hate to see others doing well.”

With Patrick Mahomes’ mom all in on Trump, there were plenty of social media fans ready to criticize a mother who they feel should be more sensitive to the issues that affect her mixed family.

Social Medial Media Sorry For Patrick Mahomes After Mom Endorses Donald Trump

“Poor POC Patrick & his little POC chillin,” one X user posted.

“No wonder why he hates his whole family,” said another X user, referencing Patrick Mahomes, whose father, a former MLB pitcher, is Black and has been identified as that his entire life.

“Toxic.”

“Why does she hate America?” said one X user who couldn’t believe Randi Mahomes was endorsing Donald Trump.

An X user named @RealSauce said, “I feel bad for Mahomes. The whole family is cringe.”

As far as the NFL is concerned, we know that most of the owners are pro-Trump. He was very vocal against the players and Colin Kaepernick during a contentious period in our country and the NFL.

NFL Owners Donate Big For Trump

According to reports, NFL owners have donated at least $30 million to federal political candidates and causes during the 2023-24 election cycle, which is seven times the amount spent over the same time period four years ago.

We’ve even had wives of players of color call Kamala Harris out of her name.

Annah Tagovailoa, wife of star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and Devon Mostert, the wife of Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert, both vocalized their support for Trump on social media pages.

Mostert’s wife went as far as calling Kamala “garbage.” She also called her “Textbook trash,” saying,” No one has time, Kamala- especially not for her to say some bulls*** like, ‘we can be unburdened, by what has been.’

Unlikely NFL Community Support For Donald Trump

Some unlikely additions to the Trump takeover in the NFL are Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. The former Pittsburgh Steelers stars have been pro-Trump, even appearing and speaking at his rallies. Bell has worn a shirt which referred to the Vice President as a “Tramp” and he also said that if she wins the election, he’s leaving the country.

Some might feel that Patrick Mahomes is in a bad spot with a family full of MAGA lovers, but on the other hand, this is America, and these are issues that an increasing number of racially blended families with cultures that connect and clash will have to deal with.

‘The Rabbit’s Got The Gun’: Warren Sapp Couldn’t Believe Nick Saban Was ‘Blackmailed’ By Recruit For $1 Million With a Deadline Of 48 Hours To Cut The Check

Nick Saban is a legend and considered the GOAT college football coach by most people familiar with the sport. He coached his final game after 17 glorious years at Alabama last season. He blamed a changing landscape driven by NIL money, a new breed of entitled athlete and his age as factors in stepping away from the dynasty he built.

Saban turned 73 on Oct. 31, and the celebration was a bit tainted by a news report going around that Saban was blackmailed by a potential recruit.

After hearing about the “blackmailing” incident, former NFL defensive tackle Warren Sapp said on a podcast that he definitely heard the story, and it was one of a few situations that point to how dramatically the college recruiting games changed.

Warren Sapp Says Nick Saban Was Blackmailed By Recruit Wanting $900K

“I heard this past offseason that really, like, drove the point home that the rabbit’s got the gun. Now, they said a kid walked in Nick’s Saban’s office, sat down and looked at him and say, I need $900,000, and you got 48 hours,” Warren said. It sounds like someone’s joking, right? Warren felt the same way when he added, “Can you imagine walking in the head coach? Officer, tell him you gonna give me almost a million dollars, and you got 48 hours. Nah, that ain’t happening. That’s crazy!”

So, what Sapp, who is Deion Sanders’ senior quality control analyst with the Colorado Buffs, described as blackmail, some would describe as the new way of negotiating in college sports.

It was more like an attempted stickup. No mask, Broad daylight. Although, the unidentified recruit might have been offered more money to go elsewhere and wanted to go to Alabama. The only shot you miss 100 percent of the time is the one you don’t take, and unless Sapp left out some other threatening detail, blackmail is a harsh description.

Players have the ability to demand huge sums of money and set the market in college football. This is a dynamic that is completely opposite of Saban’s era where the head coach is the king and the dictator and held the fate of every last player in the palm of his hands. Many players scrounged to live comfortably on campus while their parents struggled financially at home.

New NIL Era Pushed Nick Saban To Retirment

This new way of doing business with elite college athletes pushed a legendary coach like Nick Saban out of the game because he built his program never having to negotiate with his players. Especially not about money.

The fact that a kid can walk into the office of a legendary coach who won seven national titles (six at Bama and one at LSU) and demand a milly while dictating the terms of closure is bold but also well within the rules. It’s a form of player empowerment that educators, administrators and coaches scoff at, but the players and general public supports. Sapp even went on to agree that he doesn’t blame the kid for trying it. It’s just an audacity that a Hall of Famer who grew up playing college ball in the ’80s and ’90s.

What In The Caucasity? Nick Saban Declares NIL War Against Deion Sanders Alleging, JSU Paid To Flip Top Player

Saban undoubtedly told the kid to get lost and when he writes his final memoirs or gives rights to the movie, we will probably find out many more of the wild and crazy stories in the life of Nick Saban as it pertains to the hundreds of players that have come out of his program.

Nick Saban Celebrates 73rd Birthday and $80M Fortune

Saban’s daughter Kristen wished him a happy birthday on social media, singing his legendary praises.

Happy Birthday to the goat, love you Sabes,” she wrote beside a sophisticated picture of Saban. What a sincere homage! She not only acknowledged his legendary status in college football but also highlighted their family connection by affectionately crowning him the “GOAT.”

Nick Saban has an estimated net worth of $80 million. He’s still doing ESPN “GameDay” appearances and AFLAC commercials. The money is still flowing. The love from the Bama community is plentiful and grows daily, as his predecessor struggles in his first season at the helm.

When the players on his championship teams were winning pre-NIL, he was the one who benefitted from the shoe deals and coaches shows and endorsements because the players couldn’t. He built a fortune off their backs and then took his ball and went home when they changed the game on him. A million dollars? That’s probably what Saban owes each of the top 80 players to suit up during his coaching tenure.

“I’m Being Dead Serious” | ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky Oddly Asks “First Take” Panel Why Do Black Guys Smell Better Than Caucasian Dudes?

ESPN has quite a few strange characters amongst their various sports programs. But none is likely stranger than NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky, who also happens to be a former NFL quarterback. The former UConn Huskies star has consistently talked about his odd way of eating, and how he has to have his food made in order for him to consume it.

Known for his quirky comments and dry sense of humor, Orlovsky tends to also ask some of the weirdest questions. During his appearances across various platforms on the network he also gives some of the wildest takes known to man. In fact, his latest comments actually may have rubbed some folks that look like him the wrong way.

Orlovsky Said What?

During an appearance on “First Take” last week, Orlovsky took a segment and turned it into a bit of a hygienic debate.

“I have two questions, OK? And I probably shouldn’t ask the first one, but I’m gonna ask it. And I’m being dead serious. Stephen A, we just had this … why do Black dudes smell better than white dudes?”

Odd, to say the least, but that’s Orlovsky’s MO, ask the most off the wall question in an attempt to send a bit of a jolt throughout the set.

The comment was quickly responded to by former NFL defensive back Jason McCourty who had time enough for Orlovsky, but in a playful manner.

“Didn’t you have the comment in the summertime, you don’t shower as frequent because you jump in the pool. I’m not hearing Black guys say that.”

SAS Couldn’t Resist Chiming In

If there’s one thing Stephen A. Smith doesn’t miss it’s an opportunity to be heard and give his point of view. And that’s just what he did in response to DO’s comment.

“Well you know, bathing has a lot to do with it. It’s about making sure that the right cologne, the right lotion is placed on you.”

That’s a straight shot at Orlovsky’s hygiene or lack thereof, after he told the others that he not only uses the pool in place of a bath, he uses also the same towel in his home for at least 30 times before washing it.

‘He’s The Fakest Player In The League’: Blowhard Actor Michael Rapaport Thinks LeBron James Is A Phony and Says Other NBA Players Share His Opinion

Actor Michael Rapaport has been known to give his unfiltered opinion on everything from the president of the United States to Israel-Palestine relations.

His rants are usually of the exposing, outing and ripping the veil off variety.

His most recent target is LeBron James, one of the most popular athletes in history and also one of the most criticized.

Outspoken actor and film director Michael Rapaport (R) says NBA star LeBron James (L) is the phoniest person he ever met and claims that other NBA players feel the same way. (Photos: Getty Images)

The comedian recently appeared on VladTV and claimed what many King James detractors have in the past;  that James’ public persona is a huge marketing facade.

“I will say, and I’ll never say who, but a player in the NBA did once tell me, and the hair on the back of my head stood up when he said this, he goes, ‘He’s the fakest player in the league. He’s the fakest motherf***er in the league,'” the 54-year-old comedian narrated. “When he said it, it felt like he needed to get it off his chest, and that’s all I’m going to say. And when he said it, it was almost like a therapy moment.”

The source in question that provided this quote was not revealed, Also, it was apparently from almost a decade ago so oral communications of that narrative can alter from the original version over time.

But everybody gets the point that Rapaport is making. James can come off a bit disingenuous, calculated and clout-chasing at times, depending on the topic, subject and public narrative.

Rapaport also admittingly doesn’t have the best relationship with James, as things went sour back in 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

“I Was Like F- This MFer”: Michael Rapaport Says LeBron Switched Up On Him and His Kids

Rapaport brought his kids there to meet LeBron and possibly get a handshake or an autograph, but according to the ”Prison Break” actor, King James shrugged them off.

That was Rapaport’s first indication that Bron was fake. He had different faces for different occasions.

“It wasn’t like there were tons of people. I had met him a bunch of times, this place and that place. He says, ‘I’m a fan, sir.’ You know, when he first came into the league. ‘Nice to meet you, sir,’” added the actor.

Rapaport didn’t get much sympathy for the incident, because he can come off as privileged and obnoxious at times. His rants against Donald Trump and Joe Biden haven’t earned him much favor with either side of the ticket.

“He looked me in my face and made a decision to … I was like F- you, man!” Rapaport added.

Rapaport feels that LeBron holds a grudge against him because of a beef between mutual friends. “Somebody did something to somebody’s girlfriend,” Rapaport reluctantly reveals to Vlad.

Also, Rapaport admits that he gave LeBron hell when he chose to go to Miami over the New York Knicks and form the “Heatles” with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Rapaport used to rip into him regularly for that.

Despite his VladTV appearance, the hip-hop community hasn’t embraced Rapaport as much ever since he did the A Tribe Called Quest documentary without the initial approval of original member Q-Tip and did the national promotion and spots for the film without the full group, just now-deceased member Phife Dawg.

In fact, Rapaport initially rebuffed at taking creative input from the group.

“It was weird and lowbrow. We kinda been dealing with a lot of that stuff from him,” said Q-Tip in 2011. “They weren’t trying to really honor us as producers and we had some issues behind the scenes, in terms of the contracts and all of that stuff. And then because things weren’t all the way solid, we didn’t go to the Sundance Festival, which was the first festival. And when we didn’t go there, then he started going in the press and saying stuff and it got a little adversarial, stuff like you saw like the love letter that’s in the Daily News. Stuff like that was kinda like prevalent, but what can you do?”

Rapaport was able to clean that situation up a bit with Q-Tip, but he was looked upon as fake in that situation. So, he’s one to be calling people names, but then again, that’s what he does.

Other Talking Heads Have Been Critical Of LeBron James’ Persona

Of course, this isn’t the first time that someone has accused LeBron James of being phony. FanDuel TV’s Michelle Beadle, who was blocked on social media by LeBron after criticizing his son Bronny’s questionable path to the NBA and she later called the moment both players took the court together, “manufactured.” She’s also called LeBron “passive-aggressive” and “fraudulent” in the past.

“If this isn’t manufactured, then I don’t know what the word manufactured means,” Beadle said about The James Gang’s historic moment. “But, again, I am not impressed, and I thought this was so ridiculous,” Beedle said.

Beadle even accused Bron of getting her fired her job as “NBA Countdown” Host, so there’s a personal rift of some kind between those two.

Former “NBA Countdown” Host Michelle Beadle Believes LeBron James Got Her Fired For Criticism Of “The Decision”

On the flip side, she was called out for being the rich white pot calling the kettle black. Social media dropped the receipts on her.

One X user, viciously posted:

“Michelle Beadle dropped out of college in TX then spent 3 years waiting tables and working random jobs

Until her wealthy father pulled strings with the Spurs and got her an internship that she had absolutely no qualifications for

Damn b-tch, I guess you’re a hypocrite”

LeBron James has been the focal point of criticism over his handling of a variety of issues, including the NBA and China, calling Donald Trump derogatory names, often attaching himself to any form of big news in the world of sports and entertainment and most recently and egregiously, the way he has helped his son Bronny get drafted and a guaranteed $8M from the L.A. Lakers as the 55th overall pick in the draft.

Whatever he does is going to incite public opinion, and sometimes people don’t like the way he operates, but there’s a legion of defenders and fans who will always have his back as well. Is LeBron fake? Well, isn’t anybody who doesn’t act or respond to situations the way others would like them to?

The praise and criticism will continue for one of the most compelling and impactful athletes this world has ever known. It’s hard to please everybody.
