Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is back in Florida, according to reports. The Brazilian model and wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady left the family compound in Florida last month after a fight with Brady over the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s decision to return to football. No word on if the couple have spoken or seen each other.
“Gisele isn’t back with Tom,” a source told the New York Post. “She flew back to Florida to be with her kids but hasn’t been to their home in Tampa. Tom is still hoping they can reconcile. Gisele has told him she’s leaving him before, and they always made up when she cooled down.”
Brady announced his retirement on Feb. 1 and on March 14 he announced he was returning to the game. That sudden change of heart seemingly is at the core of the couple’s issues. Bündchen believed that after 22 seasons Brady was ready to spend more time at home with the family.
On Aug. 11 Brady left the team for 11 days in what was deemed an excused absence. It now appears as though his family situation was the cause for his absence.

Upon his return Brady seemed a little weary.
“It’s all personal,” Brady said of his recent absence, via the Tampa Bay Times. “You know, everyone has got different situations they’re dealing with, so we all have really unique challenges to our life. You know, I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on. So you’ve just got to try to figure out life the best you can. You know, it’s a continuous process.”
Bündchen is reportedly staying in Miami, and while neither side has filed for divorce, there is speculation that the couple is headed in that direction.
“They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind,” the source continued. “There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kid.”
If Brady did agree to retire and spend more time at home being a family man you can understand why Bündchen is upset. She’s been the primary childrearing parent their entire marriage. As the kids get older she probably wants Brady to be more a part of the parenting.
The couple got married in 2009 and have a son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. Brady is also dad to 15-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with his ex Bridget Moynahan. Brady dumped a pregnant Moynahan to get with Bündchen.
If divorce is imminent you have to wonder if Brady had to do it all over again, if he would un-retire?
Regardless of all that, Brady and the Buccaneers open up the season on “Sunday Night Football” in Dallas against the Cowboys.
