Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon announced on Monday that he will be missing the beginning of the team’s training camp. Gordon tried to calm down any concerns saying, “I am not only doing great physically but mentally as well…Rest assured, this, too, is a part of my overall health and treatment plan.”

Browns GM John Dorsey says he stands by the receiver and is offering his support. We will continue to support Josh as he receives the care needed to maintain his progress.”
The wide out was suspended by the league for failed drug tests and Gordon eventually decided to go to rehab to address lingering issues he was dealing with. He was then reinstated by the NFL in November 2017.
Let’s for his sake that he actually is in great shape and is only taking this break to make sure he’s at his best for the season.
