Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is a great NFL player and he wants to be the spokesman for a young, rising Jaguars team, but sometimes his youthful exuberance and unchecked passion for the game gets him into trouble. Ramsey has been very critical of the local medias treatment of his teammates and as a leader, he has taken it upon himself to criticize the media on Twitter and to their faces.
With the NFL on pins and needles and executing constant damage control in response to player protests and the Presidents puppet master domination of the backbones of NFL owners, the Jags wanted to get in front of any potential beef with its own media and punish Ramsey for his profanity-laced tirade at practice.

Jaguars All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey was suspended by the team for a week, sources say, after going after local media for what he believes is unfair treatment of his teammates especially Dante Fowler. He authored several tweets in support of his teammates & disdain for local media.
The Jags suspended Ramsey and defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. for a week because of Fowler’s involvement in several altercations at practice on Sunday and Ramsey’s profane rant directed toward the media filming the incident. Jacksonville released a brief statement and kept it moving.

Jaguars leave Tuesday for Minnesota to spend week practicing with Vikings before playing them Saturday night. Neither Dante Fowler nor Jalen Ramsey making the trip.
According to ESPN, Ramsey was not happy that members of the media filmed the first incident between Fowler and Ngakoue and yelled at the local media to “stop recording that s—, man!” Ramsey continued to yell at the media and use profane language as he left the practice field.
Ramsey also sent out several tweets Sunday afternoon, including one in which he explained that he was sticking up for Fowler and any repercussions from his actions would have to be accepted.

I’m always gone take up for my teammates kus I know what type of men and players they are forreal! Love my dawgs! If you don’t like it, oh well. God bless
This isnt the first time Ramsey has said something that put his franchise in a tough spot. Last season, he guaranteed Jaguars fans a Super Bowl prior to their AFC Championship matchup against Tom Brady and New England. It sounded convincing, but his squad fell short and it made him look like an original gum-flapper rather than a confident young player marking a watershed moment in a future HOF career.

This clip of Jalen Ramsey from last week did not age well… https://t.co/pUGmklyXTQ
If Ramsey was a student of history, he wouldnt have guaranteed a thing. A team that was 1-10 all-time against New England, 0-7 against Tom Brady and an overwhelming underdog in the AFC Championship game might not have wanted to give the Juggernaut any incentive to go even harder. The Patriots used Ramsey’s youthful expression as motivation en route to a 24-20 win.
Ramsey just cant help himself. He has that big bank takes little bank mentality and hes willing to deal with the consequences of his banter.
Jalen Ramsey with the potty mouth: “We should’ve blown’em out”
Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey talks after the game about the Seahawks & says they really should’ve blown them out.
Maybe this one-week suspension will encourage the Pro Bowl corner to be a bit more diplomatic in his approach. Theres nothing wrong with Ramsey being outspoken and protective of his teammates, but theres something called class that goes along with the job and he hasnt exhibited too much of it as this early stage in his career.
