Snoop Dogg Reacts To Dallas Cowboys Franchising Dak Prescott

After months of haggling, the Dallas Cowboys have decided to put the exclusive franchise tag on All-Pro quarterback Dak Prescott. meaning the two sides have until July 15 to work out a long-term deal.

The good news is that Dak will be making $29 million more than he made in 2019, but no longterm security. There were other notable players ( A.J. Green, Derrick Henry) that were franchised today.

It has been reported throughout these negotiations that Dak was seeking a contract in the $35 million range, which would tie him with Russell Wilson for the highest-paid QB. Dallas has consistently said that they didn’t want to set the market with Dak’s deal and the two sides seem to be only a few million apart, but nobody is budging.

Snoop Dogg To The Rescue

There’s one football fan that is not happy about Dak’s situation at all and he joined ESPN First Take via phone to vent.

Rapper Snoop Dogg is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but he still feels like Dak was done dirty by Dallas.

Snoop said:

“For the simple fact that Dak is not being treated right is an uproar for me. All of the stuff that he’s proved since he came in to take over for Tony Romo. He’s been to the playoffs. He has no problem off the field. He’s a great guy… why don’t yall just pay him? I’m looking at Jared Goff and Carson Wentz get this money and Ryan Tannehill and they are garbage to me and Dak can’t get paid. I don’t understand it and I’m not a Cowboys fan so I can imagine how Cowboys fans feel today”

Why hasn’t Dak been paid, Snoop?

“I can’t understand that because the winning that he does and the way he keeps himself healthy and conducts himself off the field, warrants him being one fo the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league. Is it because of his color? I don’t know. Dak is way better than Tony Romo.”

How will this affect the relationship between Dak and Dallas going forward?

“Dak’s gonna end up leaving and he might pul a Le’Veon Bell…sit out for the season..Break bread or fake dead. Give the man his money Jerry, you go it!”
