The pair will star in an episode of the classic series’ reboot. Sanaa Lathan, Steven Yeun, John Cho, and many more will also appear in the series.

In an earlier statement, Peele said, “ Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time but prophesied issues of ours. I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.

Peele not only will direct but will also narrate the series.

The iconic science-fiction series, narrated by Serling, originally ran on CBS from 1959 to 1964. There was also a short-lived reboot on UPN in 2002.

You can catch Williams in Corporate Animals, which is set to premiere at Sundance this month. And you can catch Wise in the Netflix rom-com Someone Great.

Still, we don’t have any specific details or descriptions about the episodes or characters. One thing’s for sure, Peele is putting black actresses in spaces we’ve never seen them before and we’re here for it.
