Patriots’ Gronkowski Listed As Week To Week

Crisis Averted, or so it seems.

Crisis Averted, or so it seems.

The New England Patriots and their fans may breathe a little easier today after an MRI showed that tight end Rob Gronkowski did not sustain any serious damage to his knee, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

After losing key receivers Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and running back Dion Lewis to injuries, a loss of Gronk would have been devastating to the Pats’ playoff hopes. With the Patriots losing their first game, and one win away from clinching the AFC East, they are in great position to focus on getting healthy for their playoff run.
