Michael Jordan Is Giving $1 Million to Hurricane Relief In The Bahamas

Hurricane Dorian rampaged across the Bahamas, devastating the island in almost every way.

While residents still cope with the devastating while trying to rebuild, relief efforts have begun to pick up. Today, a big name from the Charlotte area announced that he was joining in efforts to help the island and its residents..

His Airness and owner of the Charlotte Hornets, Michael Jordan, has announced that he’s donating $1 million to relief efforts in the Bahamas.

In the statement issued by his spokeswoman, Estee Portnoy, Jordan expressed his sadness over the heart wrenching destruction on the island.

“My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering and to those who have lost loved ones.” wrote Jordan.
