Kevin Durant Surprises Students, Pays Their First Year College Tuition

Since the day that Kevin Durant arrived in the Bay Area, he’s had both an impact on his team and in the lives of many children.

The Golden State Warriors star recently agreed to pay several kids’ first-year college tuitions from the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula in Menlo Park, California. All of them are students that he currently mentors.

But, that’s not the only thing he plans on doing to give back. Back in March, San Francisco Examiner’s Karl Buscheck reported that Durant has committed to giving out $13 million to community causes this year alone.

Keep going KD, the kids are our future.
