The Sixers will receive the perennial All-Star while sending Robert Covington, Dario Saric and a 2022 second-round draft pick to Minnesota.

Minnesota has traded Jimmy Butler and Justin Patton to Philadelphia for Robert, Covington, Dario Saric and a 2022 second-round draft pick, league sources tell me and @JonKrawczynski.
Details are still coming but once approved, this could be a dramatic shift in the Eastern Conference.
Butler will now be on an offense that features the reigning ROY in Ben Simmons and low post-terror, Joel Embiid.
