Golden State Beats Knicks, Avoids Third Straight Loss

Golden State hadnt lost three games in a row in 3.5 years. Thats a 293 game span. They were facing that possibility against a feisty New York Knicks squad on Sunday before pulling away late in the game for a 112-105 win.

Dub Nation isnt used to losing, as evidenced by the fact that everyone acted as if the sky was falling down when Durant went down with a knee injury and Golden State proceeded to lose the next two games without him against the Wizards  and Bulls.

The Knicks are the ultimate slump busters for any player or team looking to get their game going. The swiss cheese was in full effect and the scoring for Golden State was really effortless. At one point analyst MArk JAckson called his former teams defense embarrassing.

Steph Curry was in the midst of one of the worst shooting slumps of his career, but that ended against the Knicks as Chef got it cooking for 31 points and and moved into the top 10 on the NBA’s career 3-point list. Curry hit five 3-pointers, passing Chauncey Billups for 10th place.

”We knew we’d be fine, getting back to who we are,” Curry said.

Against the Knicks, anything is possible.
