Dwyane Wade is Coming Home To Play For The Chicago Bulls

Multiple news outlets are reporting that free agent Dwyane Wade has committed to join the Chicago Bulls.

The talks between Wade and his hometown team heated up late on Wednesday after he met with several teams during the day. Chicago has been moving players to free up the space necessary to sign Wade, shipping Mike Dunleavy to Cleveland and Jose Calderon to the Lakers.

The Miami Heat offered Wade a two-year, $40 million offer, but Wade has become increasingly bitter toward the franchise that he’s played for during his entire 13-year career, winning three championships.

The Denver Nuggets offered Wade $52 million over two years, but it’s been reported that he told friends if he ever left Miami, he would be taking his talents home to play for the Bulls.

Chicago recently lost Pau Gasol to the Spurs in free agency, but having Wade, Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler on the perimeter is a good start to establishing the next chapter for the franchise.
