Dwight Howard Got Son’d By Greg Popovich During All Star Game

There are enough Dwight Howard tales of buffoonery from this All-Star weekend to launch a best-of-series. You can now count Gregg Popovich among the multiplying list of Howard’s detractors.

In a Wednesday morning call into ESPN Radio's Mike and Mike Stephen A. Smith claims that Popovich directed an expletive-laden tirade toward Howard after Pop wasted his good chalk on a play for Howard during a timeout. However, instead of listening in, Pop found Howard outside the huddle clowning around with a few celebs from the bench. The brouhaha was apparently enough that the Western Conference locker room was tense after their 143-128 win.

If Howard can’t catch a break even at a carefree event like the All-Star Game, he might as well throw up the white flag, throw on one of Craig Sager's jackets and take his lickings.
