Today it was finally confirmed. Cam Newton, the new face of the NFL, won the NFL MVP Award.
As he prepares to play in his first Super Bowl tomorrow night, the NFL decided to announce his award tonight. Newton, who led his Carolina Panthers to a record of 15-1, threw for 3,837 yards and 35 passing TDs while also rushing for another 10 TDs.
Cam also won the Offensive Player of the Year Award.
