Zack Snyder Set to Direct Justice League Movie

There has been talk of Warner Bros. bringing a Justice League movie to the big screen after the much-anticipated Batman-Superman mash up that is scheduled to hit movie theaters in 2016. The likelihood of the Justice League coming to pass is even greater now that director Zach Snyder has been tabbed to direct. Synder also directed Man of Steel and its sequel, which goes into production next month.

The Justice League movie currently has no release date, though the Batman-Superman film is set for May 6, 2016.

Last year’s The Avengers premiere had the summer blockbuster market on lock down and Warner Bros. is hoping to do the same with Superman-Batman and the Justice League follow up as well. The Justice League will bring together the biggest superheroes from the DC universe, including staples Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.

Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman in the Batman-Superman pic, with Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot tapped to play Wonder Woman, and Ray Fisher at Cyborg. As of now, there’s no script for the Justice League film.
