Comic-Con is a must for all blerds, nerds, geeks, comic book loves, sci-fi lovers and pretty much anyone and everyone else. It’s the place where you’ll always find something of great interest, and this year is no different.
Saturday the new trailer for the highly anticipated animated series “Vixen” dropped, leaving fans even more anxious for the series to finally debut.
Vixen, voiced by Megalyn Echikunwokehe, was created by Gerry Conway and Bob Oksner and first introduced in 1981’s “Action Comics” #521.
According to CBR, Stephen Amell (Arrow/Oliver Queen), Grant Gustin (The Flash/Barry Queen), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity) and Carlos Valdes (Cisco) will all appear on the series to voice their live-action characters.
Said “Arrow” Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim (who’s working closely on Vixen) to CBR “Vixen’s such a great character. First of all, she represents magic, which is an area that we haven’t explored on either of the two shows just yet. One thing we’re always saying is, “‘Flash’ is very different from ‘Arrow,’ ‘Arrow’ is very different from ‘Flash.'” If ‘Arrow’ is crime and ‘The Flash’ is science, ‘Vixen’ has a big magic component.”
Vixen is scheduled to debut Aug. 25 on CW Seed.
