Video: The Charlo Twins Unleash The Lions In Brooklyn

The Houston takeover has begun.

The Charlo twins are amazing.

The undefeated brothers became the first twins in boxing history to hold world titles in the same weight class. Since then, Jermall Charlo has stepped up a weight class to middleweight and secured the WBC title in the process. Jermell has stayed a  super welterweight and maintained the coveted green WBC belt in his division.

Although the brothers move as a unit, they have different coaches and now live in different areas. Jermell moved to Los Angeles and trains in Dallas with Derrick James and IBF welterweight champ, Errol Spence, Jr.

Jermall remains in Houston under the auspices of trainer Ronnie Shields of Erisandy Lara fame. Still, the two are always in sync and have established their Lions Only Promotions as the banner for their movement.

On Saturday, the two headline the first Premier Boxing Champions card on FOX in the Barclays Center. We caught up with them to discuss their community outreach efforts, ferocity, and all around Charlo energy.
