The film Vampire Academy, based on the book series of the same name, opened in theaters Friday much to the delight of teens and tweens everywhere. The film stars Lucy Fry, as a wayward vampire princess who returns to her responsibilities. And Zoey Deutch plays her rebellious protector, as they navigate high school drama, royal intrigue and a deadly conspiracy. They also have to ward off the Strigoi, a race of blood-thirsty, evil vampires who are intent on turning everyone in the world to Strigoi as well. Scary and funny, Vampire Academy is set on location in Great Britain and was shot completely at night to add authenticity.
