Hopefully the Presidential Medal doesn’t come with a side of fries.
Last Sunday golf legend, Tiger Woods made a crushing comeback by winning his fifth Masters title and his 15th major tournament.
A deserving moment no less, so much so that President Donald Trump announced Monday that he will award Woods with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Spoke to @TigerWoods to congratulate him on the great victory he had in yesterday’s @TheMasters, & to inform him that because of his incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE, I will be presenting him with the PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM!

The Medal of Freedom recognizes individuals who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors,” according to the executive order designating the award.
Trump, who is a well-known avid golfer predicted Woods would win earlier in the year, complementing the way he had been playing.
Everyone is asking how Tiger played yesterday. The answer is Great! He was long, straight & putted fantastically well. He shot a 64. Tiger is back & will be winning Majors again! Not surprisingly, Jack also played really well. His putting is amazing! Jack & Tiger like each other.

Trump has presented the Medal of Freedom to numerous athletes since taking office, including Alan Page, Roger Staubach, and a posthumous award to Babe Ruth.
This award definitely beats getting served burgers and fries at the White House—a unique form of endearment that has become synonymous to Trump.
Tiger’s victory comes 14 years after a series of back problems and personal problems threatened to end the golfer’s career.
