On the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” middle sister Khloé Kardashian is still dealing with the emotional wreckage of her failed relationship with NBA baller Tristan Thompson. The NBA free agent fathered another child with Houston trainer Maralee Nichols despite working on having another child via surrogacy with Kardashian. On the episode Khloé has a brain scan, which reveals the trauma suffered as a result.
Khloé’s younger sister Kendall Jenner convinced her big sister to undergo the brain scan as a part of an overall wellness plan.
“Kendall is all about perfecting herself, like from the inside out, and Kendall’s latest thing is this brain scan type thing,” said Khloé.
Dr. Daniel Amen conducted the scan and went over the results with Khloé and Kendall. He was able to show the changes in brain patterns when impacted by trauma.
Kendall went as far as saying she would love to see the brain scans of all her siblings and family members.
“I’m interested to see everybody’s brains. I want to get one family member at a time. Just with all the s**t Kim deals with on a daily basis, I would be very interested to see her brain because I’m sure it’s just overload in there,” Kendall adds.
The two share 4-year-old daughter True and a newborn boy. There will be no romantic reconciliation, only co-parenting, according to Page Six.
“Khloé and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters. The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December.”
Not only did Thompson cheat on Kardashian repeatedly while they were together, he allegedly pushed the second child and made promises to Khloé that they would be together.
During her conversation with Dr. Amen, Khloé opened up on past issues and traumas that might be still impacting her.
“My last ex-boyfriend, there was a lot of cheating involved, I was pregnant, and then he just had a baby with someone else while we were together … and all these things I find out about from social media, not myself, so it’s pretty traumatic,” Khloe explained.
As for Thompson, the 31-year-old free agent is still waiting on a call from a team. It’s possible the Chicago Bulls will re-sign him.
He’s still a very good rebounder, finishing last season in the 97th percentile in offensive rebounding rate, tied for the best in his career. He was in the 86th percentile in defensive rebounding rate, the fourth highest of his 11-year career.
Thompson has earned over $116 million in his 11-year career. Despite still being a very good rebounder, that’s the only valuable skill he brings to the table.
