John Travolta has apologized for the funniest moment of Sunday's Oscar broadcast when he accidentally butchered singer Adel Dazeem's Idina Menzel's name before her performance of one of the biggest songs in the world right now, "Let it Go."
Travolta's video flub has spread across the internet world, with Oscar folks working overtime to remove all videos of it from Youtube (although we still found one). The single, which won the Oscar for Best Song, currently sits at the top of Billboard's digital music charts. But the damage control is still not enough, with Facebook and twitter accounts set up in Travolta's flub name "Adel Dazeem," which received 20,000 followers days after the account was created. Reacting to the comical criticism, Travolta released an apology Tuesday saying, " I've been beating myself up all day. Then I thought … what would Idina Menzel say? She'd say, 'Let it go, let it go!' Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!"
