Bellator 160: Benson Henderson vs. Patricio Pitbull

After leaving the UFC in one of the biggest free agency signings in MMA, Benson Smooth Henderson lost his debut fight at Bellator 153. The dominant performance by Bellator welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov yielded a unanimous decision loss for Henderson and a bit of his pride as well.

Now returning against former Bellator featherweight champion Patricio Pitbull Freire (25-3) in a lightweight bout, Henderson is seeking redemption. In the same Bellator 153 bout where Henderson lost, Pitbull gained redemption, submitting Henry Corrales in the second round via guillotine choke.

Henderson (23-6) was on a two-fight win streak before leaving the UFC with wins over notable opponents like Brandon Thatch and Jorge Masvidal, and this fight implicated more than just a personal victory for either man but a testament to where the best competition lies between the two promotions.

Also in co-main event action, rising featherweight A.J. McKee (4-0), son of MMA veteran Antonio McKee, faces Cody Walker (7-2).

Watch Bellator 160 live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on Spike at 10:00pm EST / 7:00pm PST.

Boxing: Robert The Ghost Guerrero vs. David Peralta

Robert Guerrero is a warrior that has battled the best and this Saturday he returns to action. This is his first fight since losing a 147-pound war with Danny Garcia via unanimous decision in January for the then vacant WBC world welterweight title formerly held by Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

It was the third attempt for Guerrero at becoming a 147-pound champion, all defeats, having previously lost title bouts to Mayweather (May 2013) and Keith Thurman (March 2015), both by unanimous decision.

However, in between those defeats, Guerrero earned victories over Yoshihiro Kamegai (unanimous decision, June 2014) and Aron Martinez (split decision, June 2015). Prior to that, Guerrero had won 15 consecutive fights over a 6-year span, culminating with a unanimous decision over Andre Berto in November 2012 in a fight for an interim 147-pound title.

Guerrero (33-4-1, 18 KOs) now faces Argentinas David Emanuel Peralta (25-2-1, 14 KOs) in a 10-round showdown marking his fourth appearance on the Premier Boxing Champions platform.

Peralta, who has been out of the ring since May 2015 when he defeated Guillermo de Jesus Paz by eight-round unanimous decision, turns 34 on August 31. He has only one defeat in his last seven contests, a 10-round split decision loss against Cristian Nestor Romero in April 2015.

In addition to the main event, an all-Mexican brawl is scheduled between longtime contender Alfredo Angulo (24-5, 20 KOs) of Coachella, California, and onetime 147-pound title challenger Freddy Hernandez (33-8, 22 KOs) of Mexico City.

Watch all the action live also from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on Spike at 9:00pm EST/ 9pm PST.

UFC Fight Night: Demian Maia vs. Carlos Condit

Demian Maia (23-6) returns to fight Carlos Condit (30-9) in Saturdays UFC on FOX 21 main event. He has been chasing a UFC championship for more than eight years and came up short in a April 2010 title fight with Anderson Silva.

Currently, on a five-fight win streak, the jiu-jitsu aces last outing at UFC 198 yielded a third round submission over Matt The Immortal Brown.

Former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit took a tough split decision loss to former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 195 in January. This bout marks his return to action with potential welterweight title implications in the future for the winner.

With new champion Tyron Woodley on the hunt to prove he is the best after his quick finish of Robbie Lawler at UFC 201, and the potential return of Georges St. Pierre, the welterweight division is getting very exciting again.

Watch UFC Fight Night live from Vancouver, British Columbia on FOX at 8pm EST / 5pm PST.
