The NBA Playoffs are in full swing with the beginnings of the Conference semifinals, and each remaining team has their own slogan tees to get their fans amped and show their pride.
We take a quick look at each squad’s t-shirts with a quick musical breakdown from one of that city’s respective Hip Hop greats. And while you’re getting into the flow, don’t forget to grab your shirts from NBAStore.com. Let’s go!
HOUSTON ROCKETS
To paraphrase Scarface, “We never seen the Spurs cry, until last night!”
***
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
As Too Short once had said, “The Warriors got the game from the pimps and the players, and the Jazz are sure to feel them when they get there!”
***
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
When LeBron, Kyrie, Kev Love and the returning champs took the court against Toronto in Game 1, they basically said, “Our situation is a tight one, Whatcha gonna do, fight or run?” The Raptors ran.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS
Well there really is no Hip Hop giant from San Antonio, so we’ll just quote one of our great modern day philosophers, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich right here when he says, “The measure of who we are is how we react to something that doesn’t go our way.”
So after last night’s 27-point beat-down, at home, I guess we’re about to find out who the Spurs really are.

BOSTON CELTICS
There is no more difficult circumstance for one to deal with than the death of a close loved one. And to see how Isaiah Thomas has been “rumbling the through the function” in honor of his sister Chyna, who is now above the clouds, has been the story of the 2017 NBA Playoffs.

WASHINGTON WIZARDS
That sound you heard after the Wizards lost to the Celtics in Game 1 was John Wall getting choked up in the locker room and yelling at his teammates, “Let me clear my throat!”
***
TORONTO RAPTORS
Not so sure what, “We The North,” really means, but I do know that the Raptors got eaten up like a piece of Grandma’s poundcake in Game 1 against the Cavs.
