Tarzan Swings Back To The Big Screen with Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, & Djimon Hounsou

Production on Warner Brothers Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, Tarzan reboot has gotten underway. The film which stars True Blood's Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Djimon Hounsou, John Hurt, Margot Robbie and Christoph Waltz has begun filming at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, as well as on location around the UK. Harry Potter director, David Yates, is on hand to direct the film and Jerry Weintraub is producing.

The film will follow Tarzan going back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament after leaving life in the African jungle behind for a “gentrified” life in London. However upon his return to the Congo, he is unaware that he's a pawn in a deadly plot filled with greed and revenge, led by Belgian Captain Leon Rom (played by Waltz).

The film will be released in 3D on July 1, 2016.
