A legend reborn? Probably not, but word on the streets is Tiger is preparing for a serious run at the Masters in April. According to several golf pubs, the odds of Woods winning Augusta is soaring.
Tempered and pessimistic golf minds say the young guns have caught up and its no longer Tigers course or his show. Flashes of brilliance wont cut it against the elite golfers in the sport they say. Stephen A. Smith went as far as saying on First Take this morning, that Tiger would never win another major.
But when Tiger was finished golfing on Friday at the Valspar Championship, the legend’s name was tied atop a PGA leaderboard for the first time since Aug. 22, 2015.

Tiger Woods is currently tied atop the Valspar Championship leaderboard through 12 holes. The last time he held a share of the lead after 36 holes was at the 2015 Wyndham Championship. He would go on to finish T-10th.
Woods tee’d off shortly after 8am and he not only snatched a share of the lead for the first time in 930 days, he took the outright lead after a birdie at the par-5 fifth hole, his 14th hole of the day at Innisbrook Resort Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor, northwest of Tampa.

You can see the confidence oozing back into Tiger as he made four birdies on the day. When he said he was almost ready, he wasnt just yapping.
