Mike Tyson On Conor McGregor: “…He’s Going To Get Knocked Out.”

When the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight was first announced, everyone had an opinion, but none as vocal as legendary boxing champion, “Iron” Mike Tyson.

Tyson, who has a voracious appetite for MMA and a deep friendship with UFC President Dana White, spoke Monday on Barstool Sports Pardon My Take podcast giving his take on the boxing match.

Boxing? I got mad because I thought they were going to use MMA rules against boxing, because thats what its all about can the boxer beat the MMA guy? But Conor put his dumb ass in a position where hes going to get knocked out, because this guys been doing this all his life since he was a little baby, and Conor cant kick or grab and stuff. He not going to stand much of a chance.

Tyson, who became the youngest heavyweight champion in history with a second round TKO over Trevor Berbick in 1986, started his professional boxing career at age 19 just like Mayweather.

However, Mayweather also comes from a family of boxers including his father and two uncles, who were world champions.

McGregor started his professional MMA career in 2008 at the age of twenty. He has three professional losses, all by submission. The fight against Mayweather, which was built on social media hype, will be his debut professional boxing match.

Its going to be exciting, Tyson said. The whole things exciting because its got a circus-y kind of atmosphere, because you love the fact that you see Conors a character. Like, Floyds never met a character like this. … Boy! Come on, what are you talking about, boy?! Yeah, boy! … What do you got a book bag for when you cant read? And I want to say, Hey, man, thats disrespectful, but the thing is, its so funny, man, I cant stop.
