Jarvis Landry Signs Mega Contract Extension With Cleveland Browns

Cleveland continues upon an active free agency by taking care of their new impact players.

The  Browns and new wide receiver Jarvis Landry agreed to a long-term extension, which was first reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The deal would be for 5 years at $75.5M with $47M guaranteed.

The #Browns and WR Jarvis Landry are going to agree to terms on a 5-year, $75.5M extension, sources say. He gets $47M guaranteed… crazy for those who considered him a slot receiver.

Landry was traded to the Browns in March after four seasons with the Miami Dolphins. In 16 games last season, Landry had over 100 receptions and nearly a thousand yards.

It remains to be seen if he can provide a spark to a beleaguered Cleveland organization.
