J Prince Deads Drake Pusha T Beef With Just A Phone Call

Over the weekend it seems the Drake and Pusha T beef has come to an end. This comes on the heels of Kanye West tweeting that he is “about love” and wanted it to be over. Before we crown Ye the bi-polar diplomat of rap beef, it appears the truce was coming from both sides as Rap-A-Lot Records CEO and manager of Drake, James Prince also revealed that he advised Drake to not respond to Pusha T’s cutting diss track “The Story Of Adidon.”

Prince said that Drake will not be responding to Pusha T’s vicious diss track based on his advice. The Rap-A-Lot Records CEO spoke with radio personalities Fadam Got da Juice and DJ Reddz of DTLR Radio Saturday. Prince was on air promoting his new book, “The Art and Science of Respect” and told them he issued the directive to Drake to stand down, and don’t respond to “The Story of Adidon,” as many anticipated he would.

Prince went on to say that what Pusha engaged in was equivalent to a “pig pen mentality” and incredibly disrespectful for going after Drake’s family, and OVO producer Noah ’40’ Shebib who suffers from multiple sclerosis. Prince doesn’t directly address Drake’s alleged son with porn star Sophie Brussaux but with Prince’s respect in the music industry being legendary this point is assumed.

Many sources have said that Drake already recorded a diss track responding to ‘Adidon,’ prior to James’ phone call Saturday morning but it seems the business mind of James Prince understands the value of eh Drake brand and doesn’t want Drake to stoop to Push’s level. After all, mainstream is where Drake lives and in a gun battle of epic proportions, it is better to be on the safe side when no one is playing fair.
