Over the past year, and with a track record that extends to his official partnership with his hometown Toronto Raptors, Drake has solidified his mark as the most hated celebrity NBA fan.
The OVO star recently beefed with Cleveland’s backup center, Kendrick Perkins, during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinal, reportedly calling Perkins a “f**king pu**y.”

This went all the way into the tunnel, with Drake calling Perkins a “f—— p—-” and calling for him to come out. “I’m here in real life,” he said. He was mad. https://t.co/3DJ2HBvrWN
Following the aggressive exchange, the NBA reportedly “warned” Drake over his “use of bad language.”
It’s pretty impressive that the Raptors super fan has continuously made enough “sideline fan offenses” that the NBA has addressed him and also that he has effectively motivated and aggravated players of all levels. We haven’t seen this trash-talking efficiency since Spike Lee talked smack with top profiled players like Michael Jordan and Reggie Miller.

But it’s almost as if trash-talking is becoming synonymous with this generation of celebrity fandom. Rihanna has started to rise up the rankings with her constant support for LeBron James, heckling any fans who don’t believe that “the king is still the king, B—h.” Even fellow Canadian Justin Bieber has received backlash for wearing various teams’ jerseys.
