We loved watching Steve Smith Sr. both on the field and off of it. From the nasty stiff arms, refusing to go down easily and never backing down to escorting an autistic high school student to her prom and attending the press conferences in interesting costumes, Smith has given fans much to cheer about.
Now, after he played his last game in the NFL last week, Smith gives the NFL one final gift. A letter to Roger Goodell confirming his retirement, and it’s absolutely Smith Smith Sr. to the fullest. We’ll miss you Steve!
