Steelers’ Le’Veon Bell has suspension reduced to two games

Today the NFL announced that Steelers’ Le’Veon Bell, who faced a three-game suspension for DUI and marijuana possession, had his suspension reduced to two games. This is good news for the team, who will now have one of the league’s best running backs for their Week 3 match-up against the Rams, instead of waiting an additional week for his return against their arch-rival Baltimore Ravens.

Unfortunately Bell will miss the season opener against the Patriots and the week two game against the 49ers.

But Steelers’ Nation can rejoice as Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown lead one of the league’s most explosive offenses. The absence of Bell will be filled by veteran running back DeAngelo Williams, who signed with the team this past off-season.
