Snoop Taps Master P, Chris Brown, The Game, 2 Chainz For Hip-Hop Fantasy Basketball Team

Ever wonder what music celebrities Snoop Dogg would choose to make a mega basketball squad? At 6’4”, it would seem that he would blend in perfectly with a professional NBA team, but does he have the magic to pull together a team — with size, skill, and talent that could be competitive against the Los Angeles Lakers?

That’s a long, shot, but The Mix’s Romeo believes so. In a recent episode, Snoop’s No Limit nephew asked him about his Hip-Hop fantasy team…and what a starting five!

“First, you know, I got to be in there.” The Dogfather joked. Well maybe, he wasn’t joking. He does have skills.

Snoop then told the now grown-up “My Baby” rapper that he could not have a Hip-Hop team and not tap his father, Percy “Master P” Miller.

“We got to get Master P because he was the first rapper to make it to that NBA.

Then, I’m going to the West coast. I’m going to get The Game. I’m gonna get Chris Brown. Then my last pick? I’m going to Atlanta, got to get 2 Chainz.”

Master P is 6’ 4, the same height as Snoop. 2 Chainz is 6’5, the actual size that Romeo believed his father to be. The Game is the same height as Snoop and Master P and Chris Brown is the shortest at 6’1, but he’s probably the most skilled player out of the bunch.

The team is impressive, but The Mix squad wanted to know who would perform at half-time. To that, Snoop Dizzle shocked the panel and said he would go old school — snatching up HER to delight the crowd.

That would be very tame, kid-friendly, and appropriate. The world remembers when Snoop designed a half-time show last year at The Kansas Jayhawks basketball team kicked off its 2019-20 season with “Late Night in the Phog.” Snoop not only used unedited lyrics but yes indeed he had four stripper poles, strippers, and fake money to accompany his set.

The Empire artist clearly is more sober-minded with the fantasy team, versus his fantasy performance. He also applauded the NBA players for their stance on Black Lives Matter, and how they are using their platform to make a statement.
