The Jose Padilha directed remake of the science fiction classic film, RoboCop, premieres in theaters nationwide Wednesday, February 12. And like the 1987 version, technology is brought to the task of saving the life of a critically injured police officer. The mega-industrial company OmniCorp steps in with their state of the art robotics system and saves his life. But he isn’t the same man he was before the surgeries that have made him into a cyborg. Now half machine, and half cop, he struggles with his new body and life, while defending the law.
The film stars Joel Kinnaman as Officer Alex Murphy, Gary Oldman plays Norton, while Samuel L’ Jackson stars as Pat Novak. From the trailers, it looks like something science fiction fans across the nation will see. Check out the trailer below.
