NY Jets Sign Former Steelers’ Star Le’Veon Bell

The Jets had money to burn and are spending it big time.

The signing of free agents was a blur Tuesday, with some big names on the move.

The Ravens lost most of their starters on defense, the Saints appear to be moving on from Mark Ingram and the Giants shocked everyone by trading Odell Beckham Jr. to the Browns.

But the Jets, who had lots of cash to spend, decided to end the day by stealing the spotlight away from the Giants with news that they would be signing former Steelers’ star running back, Le’Veon Bell.

Bell is the best all around back in the NFL. After sitting out last season as he and the Steelers couldn’t agree on a contract, Bell will now be moving to NY and donning green once again.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets will be giving Bell a four-year, $52.5 million dollar deal. Everyone is waiting on additional details, particularly the guaranteed amount; but for now, Jets fans will be flocking to Modell’s to buy a green and white #26 jersey.
