NBA All-Star 2020 In Chicago Is All About Kobe Byrant

NBA All-Star happens every year, but this one will be different.

A weekend that is full of legends, rising stars, celebrities, and fan surprises will also pay tribute to the legendary Kobe Bryant at NBA All-Star 2020 in Chicago.

Kobe and his daughter Gianna, along with seven other people tragically passed away in a helicopter crash on January 26. They were en route to a girl’s basketball game. The world has mourned the loss ever since.

In this promo clip, produced by Turner Sports and featuring Three-time Grammy® Award-winning artist Chance the Rapper, fans get a look back at NBA All-Star moments through the years.

While the Windy City may have sub-zero temperatures this weekend, the game and events surrounding it will emit a warmth of appreciation for the ultimate All-Star whose brilliance spanned an entire generation and continued to impact people before his tragic helicopter death.

The weekend tips off on Thursday, Feb. 13 with the Sports Emmy Award-winning “Inside the NBA presented by Kia” studio team of Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal providing live pregame coverage at 7 p.m (ET), along with American Express Halftime Report updates and Inside the NBA presented by Kia post-game show.
