Poor Melania… worried that no one will cover her…
Well, here you go.
The 45th First Lady of the United States was secretly recorded by her former best friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, as she complained that the “liberal media” was biased and did not give her the same press time as her predecessor, Michelle Obama. She also was upset that she had to plan the annual Christmas decorations for the White House in 2018, saying “Who gives a f*ck about the Christmas stuff and decoration.”

Melania "doesn't shake in her boots ever and she tells Donald exactly how she feels," says Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former friend of the First Lady and ex-East Wing adviser.

One of the issues that she says that the public attributed to her, even as it was her husband’s policy, was the separation of kids from their families at the borders and during the ICE round-ups. “They say I’m complicit,” whines Melanie Trump on the tapes recorded by Wolkoff. “I’m the same like him (Trump), I support him. I don’t say enough I don’t do enough where I am.”
The tapes are being used as source material for her new book, Melanie and Me, about her relationship with the woman who makes history as the second First Lady in the history of the country to have been an immigrant.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper was first to break the story, exclusively sharing the audio with the public. In a rare case of candid b**ching, Mrs. Trump says, “I’m working … my a** off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f*** about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?”
“OK, and then I do it and I say that I’m working on Christmas and planning for the Christmas and they said, ‘Oh, what about the children that they were separated?’” She quips. “Give me a f****** break. Where they were saying anything when Obama did that? I cannot go, I was trying get the kid reunited with the mom. I didn’t have a chance — needs to go through the process and through the law.”
Like her husband, she is a little confused about the facts. In her rant, she was comparing her husband xenophobic decision to separate masses of children from their parents and former President Barack Obama’s occasional removal of children from their parents when he could not guarantee their safety or confirm a legal guardian or parent. It was her husband’s policy that was discontinued by a federal judge.
"The jacket was… a publicity stunt, and it was to garner the attention of the press, to make sure that everyone was aware that Melania was going to the border."

The first lady continued, “The kids, they say, ‘Wow I will have my own bed? I will sleep on the bed? I will have a cabinet for my clothes?’ It’s so sad to hear it but they didn’t have that in their own countries, they sleep on the floor.”
“They are taken care of nicely there,” she continued. “But you know, yeah, they are not with parents, it’s sad. But when they come here alone or with coyotes or illegally, you know, you need to do something.”
“A lot of like moms and kids they are teached how to do it. They go over and they say like, ‘Oh, we will be killed by a gang member, we will be, you know, it’s so dangerous,’ ” Dramatically the FLOTUS’s voice mocks. “So they are allowed to stay here.”
“It’s not true that they would, you know what I mean, they’re not professional but they are teached by other people what to say to come over and to you know let them go to stay here. Because they could easily stay in Mexico but they don’t want to stay in Mexico because Mexico doesn’t take care of them the same as America does.”
Melania Trump’s chief of staff Stephanie Grisham released a statement not about what she said, but about the turncoat friend that made a private sharing public.
“Secretly taping the First Lady and willfully breaking an NDA to publish a salacious book is a clear attempt at relevance. The timing of this continues to be suspect – as does this never-ending exercise in self-pity and narcissism.”
