Matt Harvey a no-show for mandatory workout before NLDS

Matt Harvey is already off to a rough start and the National League division series hasnt even begun yet. In the wake of the Mets game-one playoff match-up with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, Harvey missed a mandatory team workout.

Mets manager Terry Collins stated that Harvey would be fined. Harvey arrived to Citi Field late despite being told to stay home, to apologize to his coaches and teammates. When asked why he was late by reporters, Harvey admitted that he screwed up.

However, at least one of Harveys teammates seemed to be exhausted with the drama surrounding him this season.

Im concerned about the guys that are here, Wright said, The guys that are here, we had a great workout. Were rolling. Were clicking. Guys came in today, took care of business, did what they need to do to prepare for Friday.

Between Harveys comments on his innings limit and this latest incident, many people have questioned his commitment to his team. On the other hand, if Harvey comes out and dominates the Dodgers in Game three, all will be forgotten. Its that simple.
