Miami Heat Forward LeBron James finally tied the knot with high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson this past weekend according to reports. The small wedding was held at the Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego with 'Bron’s family, close friends and some of his A-List celebrity pals on hand.

Guests included Heat teammates, owner Micky Arison, and coach Erik Spoelstra, who likely gave his star player a talk about the birds and the bees. Jay Z and Beyoncé were also in attendance. In fact, Beyoncé flew in for the wedding between shows in Brazil to perform Crazy in Love with Jay Z. Seeing the 2003 smash hit performed live was a close second to the DJ playing “The Fox” for guests’ favorite song of the night.
Tying the knot with your high school sweetheart is something that is not common among pro athletes these days. Lebron James proved that tying the knot with your longtime girlfiend is still possible. The wedding ceremony was one of those fit for a king and his queen. In what it was as one of the biggest weekends in sports this year, Lebron has picked the perfect time to tie the knot without having all of the attention towards him. Congrats Bron.
