Last Chance U’s John Franklin III Gets Big Break With Chicago Bears

In today's edition of "Well, that's what's up!" Last Chance U star John Franklin III was signed by the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

In today’s edition of “Well, that’s what’s up!” Last Chance U star John Franklin III was signed by the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Sports writer Alex Kirshner broke the news via social media.  Franklin will reportedly sign a rookie deal to be a DB/KR.
He worked out with the Bears over the weekend.

Chi Town for a new home . I love it

Franklin was featured on the ESPN reality TV program Last Chance U, about East Mississippi Community College’s 2015 season.
He was a top 25 JUCO recruit in the 2016 class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings, and signed with the Auburn Tigers. As a backup quarterback for Auburn, he ran for 430 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 204 yards and a score.
Franklin transferred to Florida Atlantic for his final season and moved to wide receiver. He caught seven passes for 95 yards and a touchdown and ran for 229 yards and two touchdowns.
