Anchorman 2 has been filming in Atlanta (yes, your boy did sneak on set but was quickly escorted away) and details have been coming out slowly but surely. First, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were rumored to join the cast, which was followed by whispers of Kristen Wiig. All of those have since been confirmed.
But the latest scoop is even bigger: Kanye West has joined the team. He was seen near Woodruff Park filming scenes on a rooftop with Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate. According to Hollywood.com, West is a little afraid of heights.
Though the studio has yet to confirm Mr. West's appearance in the film, it's hardly a surprise that the already all-star cast is is beefing up to try and meet the high expectations for the sequel. Given that Kanye is already a fan of Will Ferrell's work, this addition was a no-brainer.
