Kanye West showed fellow hip hop artist Drake some support at London's Wireless Festival on Saturday by filling in for Drake, when he canceled due to illness.
However not only did Kanye fill in for Drake, but he also played Drake’s songs “Trophies” "We Made It," and "All Me" during his set. "My homeboy Drake can't be here but we still gotta rep for him tonight," Kanye addressed the audience.
“Man I appreciate Kanye playing Trophies at Wireless so much," Drake posted on Instagram thanking Kanye for the favor. "I want to be at all the shows more than anything in the world right now. I just keep watching the video over and over. Slow motion for me right now but I promise all the fans an incredible experience as soon as I am back. I am so sorry once again I love you all dearly. Thank you Ye for giving me that joy tonight."
Kanye had performed his own set of songs at the Wireless Festival, the previous night in which he encountered boos after going into a 20 minute rant in between songs. "F*** saving face and what it's supposed to mean," Kanye said during his rant. "It's about living my dream." West also had a performance scheduled for Wireless Festival on Sunday night in Birmingham.
