Jay Z and Beyonce Set to Rock the Grammys

The biggest superstar couple in the history of popular music is set to hit the big stage as performers at the 45th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, January 26. Grammy nominated stars Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Katy Perry, Daft Punk and the legendary Paul McCartney are slated to perform as well.

The Grammy’s will be Beyoncé’s first public performance since releasing her self-titled, fifth album back in December. Though Jay and B are both slated to perform there is no word yet on whether the duo will rock together, but that is almost a foregone conclusion. With fans hoping they’ll perform their hit off Beyoncé that’s on radio replay, “Drunk in Love.”

Jay Z is the most nominated artist at this year’s Grammys. His Magna Carta album has nine nods, including Best Rap Album where he’s up against Kendrick Lamar, Daft Punk, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Taylor Swift and Sara Bareilles. Beyoncé is nominated along with Jay Z in the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Part II (On the Run)” off the Magna Carta. The Jay and B performance will likely give a ratings boost to the Grammys when they air Sunday, January 26 on CBS.
