Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon, suspended indefinitely in 2013 for substance abuse violations, has found himself in more trouble after being arrested for DUI once again.
Blackmon’s latest DUI arrest is his third alcohol related arrest and fourth substance abuse related incident. He showed promise as a rookie in 2012, totaling 865 yards and five TD’s, including a game in which he had 236 yards against the Houston Texans. the third most ever for a rookie in a game.
But the receiver’s off the field issues led him to being mandated into the NFL’s substance abuse program and then he was eventually suspended. The wide receiver was denied reinstatement into the league in May and his latest arrest may just be career ending for Blackmon.
