“He Wanna Be My Pet?” Megan Thee Stallion Responds To The Rock’s Request

Megan Thee Stallion heard Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s fantasy about being her pet, and she has an opinion about it and the former wrestling star-turned blockbuster actor.

While promoting his new animated movie “DC League of Super-Pets” with co-star Kevin Hart, the actors were asked during a promo interview what celebrity they would want to be owned by if they were a pet. The Rock, whose response was immediate, set the internet on fire with his rap starlet fantasy.

“Megan Thee Stallion,” Johnson said while Kevin Hart smiled like trouble was brewing. However, when pressed on why he chose the “WAP” rapper, he left a cryptic “well, we don’t have to talk about that.”

“I mean, that’s kinda, like, legendary,” Megan Thee Stallion said on SiriusXM radio. “I’m kinda epic. I feel like I used to watch wrestling all the time and, like, being from Houston and watching The Rock and how famous he is and how much of a megastar he is. And he wanna be my pet? Like, period. We made it. We might be a little famous.”

Megan definitely is famous for having risen from the mud, so to speak, of Houston into pop stardom. Megan released the mixtape “Rich Ratchet” in 2016, the mixtape “Make It Hot” in 2017, and the EP ‘Tina Snow” in 2018. “Big Ole Freak” (2019) became her first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Since then, she has had monster hits like “WAP” with Cardi B and more.

Thee Stallion is known for her love of animals, and she has six dogs. Her love for her pets garnered a Snapchat reality show that explored the dogs’ lives, which are all named for numbers.

Her three French bulldogs, aka Frenchies, are named Oneita, Dos, and the infamous 4oe. She also has a pit bull named 5ive, a merle dog named Six, and a cane corso named X, the Roman numeral for ten.

“I know the relationships I have with my babies, so it was just fun to watch the dynamic between my friends and their pets. It’s just a special relationship that we have with our babies, and you can feel it in each episode,” Megan said to Billboard. “She adds that she has “to make sure 4oe doesn’t turn into a little diva and get too big on me.”

However, Megan’s stance is at odds with that of her boyfriend, fellow rapper Pardison Fontaine who posted then deleted his true feelings about The Rock’s statement.

“All our dogs named after #s. Just teach your wife to use seasoning … You’ll be iiight … Moana is the sh-t tho,” Fontaine posted in a now-deleted tweet.

He must have gotten the message that a shout-out from The Rock during a movie promotional run is a good look for his lady. Fontaine went back and redirected the energy while still trying to maintain his gangster.

“Of all the things to be worried about y’all think I’m mad at the Rock,” Pardi posted on Twitter on Monday. “The comment started all our dogs #s and ended with Moana is my sh*t .. I deleted it (yesterday).. cus it seem like ppl took it wrong .. thought maybe my joke was in poor taste.”

Megan’s hot girl summer has extended, and The Rock smells what she’s cooking. With Megan flattered by the compliment, Houston, we officially don’t have a problem.
