Harlem Globetrotters Legend ‘Curly’ Neal Dies At Age 77

A national treasure, global icon, pioneer and legend passed away. The most recognizable bald head on the planet earth at one time (maybe with the exception of Kojak) has passed on to go play in heaven’s hoops league. He is one of the most influential figures in basketball history.

Neal’s death follows the passing of another Harlem Globetrotter’s legend, Meadowlark Lemon, who died in 2015 at age 83. Lemon, known for halfcourt hook shots, hilarious pranks, and no-look behind-the-back passes was an equally impactful baller representing the globally acclaimed Globetrotters.

Watch greatness in action.
