Good Morning: Jon Lester Puts The St. Louis Offense On Sequester

The Boston Red Sox won a pivotal Game 5 in what was the first nondescript game of the excellent 2013 World Series, 3-1. Adam Wainwright, the Cardinals ace, was unable to hold down the Sox for the second time in the series, as John Lester continued his dominance, striking out seven. The Red Sox now have two chances to clinch at home, an opportunity they didn't have in their two series wins of the last decade.

The Seattle Seahawks were lulled to sleep by the Sam Bradford-less St. Louis Rams, but still managed to hold on to a thrilling 14-9 victory that ended with the Rams unable to knock the door down on the goal line as time ran out.

Look how excited Rams fans were at the prospect of the Kellen Clemens era.

Redskins owner Daniel Snyder will meet with Roger Goodell over his team's name and mascot. Meanwhile, Pierre Garcon isn't happy with Washington's passing game.

You guys ready for opening day of the NBA season? Perhaps this LeBron quote will help: "We don't like them, they don't like us," James said of the Bulls. "It's not unheard of. We all know how it is." Heat-Bulls tonight at 8 on TNT.
