Donovan McNabb has officially decided to call it quits –two seasons after he last played. He announced his plans today to retire next season in Philly, when Kansas City (and Andy Reid) plays the Eagles. McNabb, the greatest QB the franchise has ever had, had a rough time in his last season there (though they did make the postseason) and was jettisoned for Kevin Kolb. The Kolb experiment didn’t work and Mike Vick stepped in, and now, well, nobody knows who will be the next Eagle QB. One thing is for sure, he’ll have a hard time meeting the standard that “5” set.
