After a successful launch of his music television network, Revolt, Sean “Diddy” Combs has added yet another project to his plate. No stranger to the entertainment industry, Diddy’s acting credits are starting to pile up. The entertainment mogul is on board as the lead character, Frank White, in a remake of the classic gangster hit King Of New York. This hardcore drama is about a former drug dealer who after being released from prison returns to the hood to beat the competition.
Combs, who optioned the rights for the remake for two years, snagged the lead role and is also teaming up with Brian Grazer to produce the film.“Our version won’t be exactly the same,” Grazer said, “But will have the same hard-core gangster feel.”
