After years as the Lakers roommates in Jerry Buss' mansion, the Clippers finally moved out of the Western Conference basement after acquiring Chris Paul last season. They aren't championship contenders yet, but the Clippers have finally moved some plastic-covered furniture and hung a personal portrait onto the Laker-adorned walls in the form of their first Pacific Division title. Not that it's a competition, but the Lakers have 23 division titles in franchise history. However, the loss also has them staring out in the cold through glass windows at the West's top eight seeds.
Congrats 2 Clippers on their 1st division title in 43 yrs Next time don't let Lakers design ur Division title banner twitter.com/CerebralSporte…

OMG DROP CONFETTI RT @laclippers: The #Clippers sweep is the 1st sweep against the #Lakers since the two teams have been in the same city.

#Clippers hammer #Lakers. For all years I watched Olowokandi, Kunnert, Benoit Benjamin and others trip over themselves this is nice change

At this point, Kobe's teammates have to be thinking they would have gotten the ball more w/ Hellen Keller at point guard.

I know that's weird to say when Kobe already has 10+ assists, but he went 1-on-5 about 50-eleven times.

This is the #Clippers first division title in franchise history as well as the first regular season sweep of the Lakers. #RepLAC

I am NOT blaming Kobe for this loss. But when they threatened late, I would have liked to see him trust his teammates a little more.

Kobe Bryant is one of the most difficult guys to play against in NBA history. He also might be the most difficult guy to play with.
