Big money has been flying around the NFL over the last few weeks, mostly amongst wide receivers who have been signing big contracts, none bigger than the Steelers’ Antonio Brown, who became the highest paid receiver in the League on February 27th.
As Biggie told us, mo’ money leads to mo’ problems, and that is something that Brandon Marshall is about to learn the hard way after making a bet with Antonio Brown last season.
So after Brown almost doubled Marshall’s receiving yards this past season, 1,284 to 788, AB was just waiting for the right time to remind Brandon about that bet, and that time was yesterday, a day after Marshall signed with the Giants.
